GMT Studios has five stages on Buckingham Parkway. They are medium sized from 40 to 110' long. They are pretty basic rooms. Nothing fancy but the best feature is that they allow you to bring your own lighting and grip packages.

Foto-Kem is a lab that processes, prints and transfers film to video. This is the place to go if you have smaller productions such as commercials or student films. The service is good and the turn around time is next day.

Flax in Westwood has a great selection of art supplies for the advanced student and the professional. There is a wide selection of paints, oils, paper and canvas. Upstairs is a great selection of drafting tables and easels.
Exotic Granite & Marble Inc
Exotic Marble & Granite has a huge yard filled with marble and granite slabs. Also there are warehouses of stone tiles to chose from. While they have a lot of slabs in stock they don't have as wide a variety as some yards. They have some very competitive prices. I bought marble tile from them at a very good price.

Eckharts Trailer Hitch & Welding made a custom hitch for my Volvo 850 wagon. After consulting with me they built a hitch that was unobtrusive yet still would hold a large bike rack. They were done in a day and the price was little more than what I would have to pay for an off the shelf hitch.
