Legendary bar off lowry and marshall in northeast minneapolis,they make a very strong drink called the greenie and pinkie. Dont know whats in it,but it is very strong.about 2-3 will get you bombed,so be careful.
22nd Avenue Station
Bar had alot of familiar friendly people,they feature partytime dancers in back room,not really my cup of tea,but place is ok,food is decent,high priced drinks.Tri-wheel and pull-tabs offered.
Brass Rail
Stopped in on a sunday,barhopping,didn't realize it was a gay bar,until inside.Still enjoyed their female impersonation show.felt uneasy but no one bothered me.
Stanley's Northeast Bar Room
Noticed alot of people frequent this place at luchtime,I dont care for the clientele.Alot of pool tables,and karoake is ok,good happy hour prices.nice location.
B J's Liquor Lounge
Not a good choice,unnless your just looking to see strippers,prices are very high,shady neighborhood,most bars in area have shut down.dancers are by partytime.
Vegas Lounge
This place offers two for ones,three times a day.8-9,2-3 and 8pm-9pm.cant beat that.mostly a bar with "regular " patrons,bar only has one pool table,decent food,polish horseshoes,nice heated patio.Met my girlfriend here.
Albert's Grill
A small 3.2 joint,in columbia hieghts,has really friendly owners,and their burgers are the bomb,not really a place to go drink,but folks are friendly,and great burgers.
331 Club
Been to this bar a couple times in last year,don;t care for clientele,artsy fartsy people,old bar was a biker bar,quite a change.they have live music,which is good.But wouldn't reccommend this place,sorry.
Spring Street Tavern
This bar has a really nice patio,food is excellant,reasonably priced.Bar also features basement for bands and private parties.Clientele has somewhat changed in last year,still friendly neighborhood bar.
Hexagon Bar
Bar is fairly small with small stage and dance floor.it is set up like ther is two bars in one building,pool tables,pull-tabs on one side,stage and dance floor on the other.cozy atmosphere.
