Even if you don't want to buy something, it's fun to just browse at Purcellville Marketplace. They carry very nice candles, lotions, Christmas decorations, and even Redskin items.
Whenever I'm in New Caste., we have to get a veggie pizza from Pizza Joe's. I've never found another pizza even similar to it. You get a nice big pizza at a good price.
The front area of Lanigan's is divided into three areas: one with small pub tables, another with tables, and the third with a sofa and fireplace. There's also the bar area and a room toward the back. So, there's lots of room, but the place was packed. My group sat at a pub table up front. We tried the appetizer sampler and my favorite was the Guinness mushrooms.
I live in Virginia and when my mother was at the nursing home right around the corner for Aiello's Pizza, I had lunch there twice. I just loved the Florentine Pizza. The dough is wonderful. It's a little pricey, but worth the cost. Now every time I'm on the turnpike driving by the Monroeville exit, I'm tempted to take a side trip and get some pizza from Aiello's.
Mahalo Cove has decent food, good drink prices on game days, and lots of TVs where you can watch the game. Unfortunately, you won't be able to hear it due to unruly people at the bar. If you're interested in playing darts or billiards, there are lots of tables and boards.
This restaurant is small and it's hard to find parking, but the food makes it worth going. I've never tried a lunch combo that I didn't like. I love the hot and sour soup. Good prices and good service.
Whenever I've gone here for lunch, almost all the tables have been taken. Plus, there are people waiting for carryout. The lunch combinations are good and you get a nice amount of food for the money.
This cute little store is located off of an alley and by going upstairs. There are several rooms filled with cute pet items which I've never seen anywhere else -- toys, beds, carriers, treats. In addition, there are door hangers and cards for people.
I never realized that there was a Joe's Place near my office until the one at Bailey's Crossroads closed. This one is so much nicer! A server actually seats you at your table, the building is nicer, and the seating is roomier and more comfortable. But there is still the same awesome lunch buffet with pizza, pasta, chicken, soup, and salad for $7.99 with your drink included.
This is a really good place to go for happy hour. I've gone here twice with a group of people, and since the bar area is small, we were seated right beside it, but got all of the specials. Beers, appetizers, and pizzas are all reduced by $1-$2 during happy hour. The beers that I've tried have been really good. Out of all the appetizers I've tried, there are none that I wouldn't order again.
