Wow, what a great view from the top. 5 stories high, but only the heavy greens will get you to see everything. You won't miss much so concentrate on the dance floor, which is on the real bottom. Enjoy the elevator and you might meet someone new to dance with. The place is very beautiful with a mix decor that I really can't describe. Great for big corporate parties because of the large space. The food was not that good, but their little desert bar made up for it. Friendly staff all around and good valet drivers. Just tell them not to readjust your seat.
When you meet a nice waitress, who's been serving at the restaurant for almost 50 years, you have to believe its good. Their staff have been their a long time and enjoy serving their customers. However, be patient and its well worth it. It's a place you have to try once. They use the best ingredients on their pizza and serve family style like real Italians. The place looks pastime, but so what... that's the beauty of history. Great place for romantic dinners, small parties and quiet time with the family. Tip generously and don't forget to take some to go.
You know why its a great deal, because its in college town. Located just off Westwood Blvd nearby UCLA, college kids, young couples and professionals alike dig this place. The staff very friendly, but they forget what what toppings you ordered. That's ok. No matter, they can do it their stronger than the New Yorkers. Pizza, calzones and salads is what I only recommend. A place really only fit for two, so don't bring the kids.
Always get a referral whenever you see a doctor (that includes a dentist). I was referred by a professional colleague, who knows Dr. Farless and their staff very well. I went and left very happy and continue to get my check ups here. They won't cheat you and their always honest. On my first visit, the were thorough in cleaning and they gave me practical tips and ways to keep my pearlys clean and white. They also do teeth whitening treatments at a great deal. This place also offers solutions to keep your whites white based on your budget. Their staff are friendly and professional. Book your appointment at least six months in advance. Don't forget to brush and floss your teeth before you arrive so the nice girl will have an easier time on you.
Ok, so what does that mean. The food is good and great for a quick bite on the go when shopping in 90210. Take note, not all of their food is "organically" made. They can't make everything they sell here. I recommend the sqaush soup and turkey sandwich. Their coffees and teas are legit. Beautiful people all around and you might spot a movie star under the ball cap and denim. You can bring little Tinkerbell and Bandit, but leave them outside. Everyone's friendly, even the Hollywood agent, who might give up his extra chair for your table. Tip the servants if you can and don't leave a mess when your done.
A very big spot, but no free internet. You have to try the Mexican hot chocolate once, its flavored with Mexican chocolate like abuelita used to make. Location could be better, but its been operating their a long time. Owners change, but the flavor stays the same. Parking in the back is helpful since Hollywood has little real estate to offer. Great place to meet up with old friends. Food is not the greatest. Nice place to buy some time if waiting for friends. However, don't bring a date here 'cause you might get distracted.
5 Stars means world class, and I only rate high to make a point. It's an independent shop that runs like it should. A simple place to meet friends, have a bible study, read a book or meet someone that could be the cute girl next door. They have a small variety of teas, but their coffee options are good. There's parking in the back, but plenty around the block too.
So the name sounds funny, but the food is very, very good. Their portions could be a little bigger, but every bite has taste. I'm not a fan of sushi, but this place can do it with mix of Chinese and Japanese flavors. I recommend their Sashimi Salad, Pad Thai and Chicken flavored dishes. I also recommend you order an appetizer because you won't fill up on their salads. Remember, in Asia, they don't eat salads. Maybe they do now. Get their before dinner time, otherwise you won't have enough to buy a beverage to go with your dish.
One of my favorite foods (Italian), but you have to know what you want before you walk in. Otherwise, you'll spend too long deciding what to eat. Or you'll end up eating a whole lot of their famous rolls. Don't forget to hide some in your purse on your way home. The waiters are friendly and artists themselves. The one in Universal City I believe all the waiters sing. Great place to entertain the family and out of towners. Nice ambiance for a date. I recommend the eggplant Parmesan and the ravioli. Bring lots of cash and make it a romantic evening.
I'm Mexican and I cook, so I got some clues for you. Most restaurants like to serve the common ingredients of Mexican food and call it Mexican. Not this place. They do it right. Their waiters and chefs have been working here a long time. No menus and four or more courses. Just sit back and listen to what he (your waiter) has to offer. Great place to impress a date. Valet guys need to be a little friendlier. No reservations, so chill for a little bit with a margarita. Then, after you eat, go for a long walk or dancing after your finished. You'll need to burn it off.
