Tony's Bourbon Street Oyster Bar
When I went to eat here at Tony's we sat in the bar area at these very high tables. I'm short, but I made my way up there to enjoy a great meal! The environment was crowded, but it was fun, friendly, and the service was great. I don't eat oysters but they have other things on the menu that satisfied me. I especially remember their appetizers being delicious. Head over there and enjoy!
The Dinner A'Fare
The Dinner A'Fare is a fantastic meal preparation place where you can go in, have your menu ready and start prepping. Everything is right in front of you and you're good to go. Their meats are fresh, their food and recipes are fantastic. My favorite has been their Spanikopita (I hope I spelled that right!) turkey burgers. Soooo yummy! Definitely worth it to have your meals prepped beforehand and so easy to take the time to do this. If you're looking for a cool experience give them a look. You'll be pleased that you did.
La Farm Bakery
The first time I tried their breads was at a 'Taste of Raleigh' event a while back. Their bread is so yummy that I had to go back for more. They have a fantastic specialty bread and a great nut and raisin bread. And I'm dying to try their challah!
Neomonde Baking Company
You'll find a yummy menu here at Neomonde. They have some great sandwiches and platters. And you'll find that they have absolutely excellent hummus! Their pitas are fresh and delicious. A great place to grab lunch!
Garden of Eden
The Garden of Eden is one of my favorite NYC groceries. They are a higher class than the regular stores, and have pretty much any specialty item you're looking for. From an olive bar to a dessert counter, and fresh produce and pasta sections, you're all set in here!
Grand Sichuan Ny
The food here at Grand Sichuan is incredible. Their soups are wonderful. I'm not a fan of the spicy stuff, but my husband loves them. I prefer the more general wonton or noodle soups. They have the large servings that you can enjoy as your entire meal. Great place to grab lunch!
Grand Sichuan Chinese Rstrnts
You'll find a similar menu (not sure if it's exact) to some of the other Grand Sichuan locations. Either way, the quality of the food is the same, which is excellent. They have the best appetizers, and decent sized portions. And being in Chinatown and the Canal Street area they're able to fit right in with excellent Asian fare.
Sea
Sea is incredible! I absolutely love the food here. The lettuce wraps (rolls?) are amazing, and their chicken-pineapple fried rice is SO good. And such a large portion you'll be eating it for days. It's a great and fun place for big groups of people so you can all sit around and see one another across the table. The decor is really pretty, too. A definite yes for me!
Dolphin Cove Research & Ed Ctr
I had such an incredible experience here. To swim with the dolphins is more amazing than one can imagine. I highly recommend finding some time to do this if you're in the area. I definitely want to do it again someday myself.
Clevelander South Beach Hotel & Bar
This place is a great hotel if you're in South Beach for the fun and the nightlife. They have a bar party every night by their pool and it's a lot of fun, but if you're looking to catch up on your sleep and stay in the room, well, this isn't the place for you. Location on the beach is fantastic, but the rooms are kind of "eh." If you're older and traveling with family, skip it. If you're looking for affordable and where the action is with your girlfriends, go there!
