We have seen him for almost two years. We have differing views on vaccinations, but he works with us to get them within a time frame we are ok with for our son. He is very patient, and answers our questions. I would recommend him to others.
We asked for a simple quote, and had two salesmen come to our home. After a length sales pitch, where the head guy held his thumb literally over the end price...we were stunned to see how costly it was. We live in a small home and the price they quoted was about 5% of our total home cost - for one tub! We priced a similar tub at Home Depot and saw it sold for thousands less, including the installation. I do not recomend them. It would have saved all of us a great deal of time and effort if they would have given us a basic idea of the cost over the phone.
While I was pregnant, my friend purchased a massage for me - and checked that it was with someone who had certification in pregnancy/pre-natal massage. I got there - it was very nice and clean - and had my massage. She had me on my back, which I thought was unusual and then massaged my feet (again, I had heard this was a "no-no" with pregnancy). While she was wraping up I asked her about her certification, turns out she was not certified in pre-natal but "had one class in it". I was floored and worried for days that I would go into early labor (I didn't). My regular certified massage therapsit was floored when I told her what happended.
Several GSO natives told me about Sills - and we had a wonderful experience there buying my son's first pair of Striderite walkers. I felt like they took their time in sizing him and making sure the shoes fit properly. The price was reasonable for the quality. I definately recommend Sills!
They have a wonderful selection of organics, toys - clothes and great gifts. The prices reflect the quality, and you get great service. It is worth a trip to browse and buy something unique, plus you have to love that it's organic!
My husband and I will only take our cars and van to Mocks Tire. I have had several times, when I requested service and it didn't need to be done - and they told me! That must have saved us a ton of money. They are fast, usually helpful (I did enconter one rude man before) and I trust that they aren't trying to rip me off.
I took my car there, and had asked them to change my name in the computer (that I had recently divorced). They called later on telling me that I needed about $700 more work on the car - that my steering column fluid was dirty and needed replacement. The car was only 4 years old, and I have never heard of that so I called another two places and they told me it was a rip-off. I would never take my car there again. I felt like they used the fact that I was a single woman to try to take advantage.
My husband got me a massage there last Christmas and it was a stressful expereince. The manager (a male) was walking around shouting on his cell phone to someone, people were rushing around, I was greeted then forgotten about until 10 minutes after my appt. was supposed to have begun. The massage itself was fine, but I was a stressed out wreck when all I had been hoping for was a bit of calm in a rushed time.
Good food, lots of ice cream in a throw back to the 1960's type of shop (maybe because they haven't updated lately). Good prices, service can be a bit slow - but that's part of the charm of a relaxed Friday night out for a traditional ice cream soda or grilled cheese. Not high class dining, but it's fun for the family.
I will travel in from Winston Salem for their wings and moogoo gaipan. It's a typical chinese place, counter for ordering and some tables...but the food is very good. The service is fast, and they will be chatty if they know you. Try anything on the menu, and you won't be dissappointed. Good prices, hot and ready...chinese take out at it's best!
