Cafe Mitz
Really good food! I've had sukiyaki bowl, chicken teriyaki, and some sushi and they're all so yummy. The price is very reasonable, too. Although the restaurant space is big, it can get very crowded especially at lunch time because a lot of university students go here. The best time to go is late afternoon/night.
Red Ribbon
I love this place. Their breads are always fresh and cakes are so yummy! They also serve other foods so I always end up grabbing a quick bite to eat while waiting for my cake order.
Photo Shack
We went to 1 Hour Photo Shack to get my daughter's passport photos and was really impressed by the sevice. They started us right away and we were out of there in 30 minutes. The staff was really friendly and nice, they even took pictures of my then 4-month old daughter using their new background and gave us prints for free!
Sakun Thai
Sakun's lunch menu is pretty good and reasonably priced. Many selections for just $6. The restaurant is really small, though, so during lunch time, you might have to wait as this is their busiest time. The service is pretty good, staff really friendly. I recommend this place if you're looking for something yummy and on a budget.
Foxtail Plant & Floral, Inc.
We've used Elegant Creations many times. We call in our orders and they deliver on time. Their staff is really friendly and will accommodate any requests. If you want a certain decoration or send a special message, no problem, they will do it for you. Highly recommended.
Monet Salon
I love my hairdresser so when she moved to Monet Salon, I followed her. This salon is in the Seafood City mall on Maryland Pkwy. My hairdresser's service was awesome, as always, but the others' was just okay. It felt awkward to be in there. The receptionist was not very accommodating, and the other staff did not even smile at all. Very unfriendly.
Pearl At Mgm Grand
We ordered tempura, kobe beef, and some sushi and wow, they're all so delicious! The kobe beef just melted in my mouth. Yes, the servings are small and the price is a bit expensive, but this is normal for a fine dining restaurant. You get quality, not quantity.
Marrakech Moroccan Restaurant
Very good Morrocan food. At first, I thought it was a little pricey, but for a six-course, delicious meal, it was worth it. Great atmosphere with a real Mediterranean feel to it. Allow for at least an hour to spend in order to really enjoy the food and entertainment.
Pin-Kaow Thai Cuisine Rstrnt
Pinkaow has the best Chicken Curry and Tom Ka Gai soup in town! The prices are very reasonable and the staff is really nice. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you want to have real Thai food.
Osaka
We've only been to Osaka a few times, but everything that we ordered from the regular menu was yummy! We've yet to try the Teppan grill. From what I've heard from colleagues, it's pretty good, too. What I really love about this place is the restaurant atmosphere - calm and relaxed and the staff is very accommodating.
