Great customer service and healthy, quality stock. They offer everything for the saltwater tank and have a customer loyalty program.
Yep, this is where the movie was filmed! It's very neat to walk around what was a movie set! The food is very good, particularly the fried green tomatoes! There's also a gift shop down the road that sells merchandise with a Fried Green Tomatoes theme.
Bead Fever is located just off State St. in downtown Ukiah. The store is small, but they have quite a bit of a selection of beads! The prices are quite good and the staff is helpful and willing to answer any questions you may have.
Heidi's Yarn Haven is located in downtown Ukiah, near the courthouse. The selection of yarns available is mind blowing! The staff is always available to help you if you're "stuck" in a knitting or crochet project. Prices are somewhat high, but you get what you pay for.
Ledford has mostly fabrics for drapes and upholstery, but most seem to be of high quality and there are tables with remnants for $3-$4 a yard. A neat place to check out if you're in the market for fabric.
This outlet has a very limited selection and most of what they have appears to be very low quality. Some lingerie type fabric items, linens, and sports shirts, but that's about it.
Hartford House designed a whole bedroom suite for me, including custom making wall mounted nightstands that I drew designs for. Their work was impeccable and their service was flawless. Highly recommend!
The Lincoln County Y offers many classes for adults, Child Watch for children under 7, and many opportunities for homeschooled children, such as Gym & Swim, Recreational Swim, and Kids in the Kitchen. The staff is wonderful!
We've used Affordable Plumbing several times and been extremely pleased with their work, prices, and honestly. It's hard to find a reputable plumber and Affordable Plumbing is one of the best plumbing companies I've worked with.
Fiesta Mexicana is located right at the top of Ridgewood Summit - next to the White Deer Lodge (and yes, there are white deer in the area, keep an eye out for them!) The restaurant is somewhat dark and drafty, but the night we ate there, the staff was very attentive and the food was pretty good. It beat being out in the snow and we were very hungry! If you've got a hankering for GOOD mexican food, drive down the grade to El Sombrero in Ukiah!
