Good food/service, great setting, fantastic view. If you want to see the world and have a good meal at the same time this is the place to be. It was just a really great evening for us.
Cabo Cantina
They have great happy hour special, (buy on drink & get another one of the same for free!) and their Mexican food is pretty good. It is packed but hey you did come here to people watch; right?
Parkway Grill
Just had dinner here again and had the same wonderful experience I always have. The food and service are five star and the setting is really nice. An excellent overall experience !!!
Doctors On Demand
They apparently work evenings and weekends in "somebody" else's office space. The doctor I saw was good, the service was quick and I got my prescription fast. Reasonable price too.
Sushi Roku Santa Monica
It's in a good location, right on Ocean Blvd and near the Santa Monica theaters and it's a nice classy looking place. But the food is expensive and just ok. It's another over-hyped LA kind of place that ok if your just looking to impress someone and are going to be ok with saying the food was just "ok" at the end of the meal.
Armstrong Garden Ctr Inc
This is a great local place in Santa Monica to find a wide variety of plants and get good advise; even if it is a chain store. My one complaint is that since they have such a good selection and give good advise it is sometimes hard to get the helps attention. But once you do it's worth the wait. Warning, you are paying full retail.
The Lobster
It sits right at the base of the Santa Monica Pier with fabulos views of the pier and the ocean beyond. It has it's own valet parking, (not a small thing in hard to park Santa Monica), a bar with a great view and pretty good food. But it is expensive. A great place to bring a date you want to impress.
west restaurant and lounge
It's a great place to meet for a drink at the nice bar with views out over the 405 & the city beyond from the top of the hotel. I've eaten here a couple of times and it's just been a ok/less than memorable experience for more money than it was worth.
Medkiff Michael L Cpa
In this miserable economy it's good to have a sharp finance and tax man on your side. Michael Medkiff has always given me great advise but this year with the economy in the dumper I appreciated it even more. When I meet with him for my year end tax planning recently he went through all of my options with me and really set my mind at ease while saving me from making a few bad impulsive mistakes and as always, saving me money on my taxes.
