I passed this place with my boyfriend once and in a spur of the moment decision we decided to dine in. I did order a non alcoholic beverage and it was way too sweet. I don't know how their other drinks are, but I've heard good things. The food was good and the service was okay (our waiter did forget things I asked for more than once though, which was irksome). For some reason, this place did not leave the most positive impression on me. I plan to return one day for drinks and perhaps it will be a better experience. I would still recommend this place, the food was quite nice.
Sometimes this place has excellent deals and other times I wish I had sucked it up and went to Walmart instead. Their produce section is great though, which is one area that Walmart lacks in. I'd recommend this store over Price Chopper any day.
I love love love LOVE this place! The only thing I wish they had was snow crab legs. Other than that, their drink selection is divine, the appetizers are phenomenal, their famous crab bisque deserves all of it's praise, and the atmosphere is remarkable. Whether it's a nice summer day and you have lunch on the deck or it's near Christmas time and you are having a quite dinner inside for too. A must go to place! Be sure to bring quite a bit of money with you though.
I went here on a first date once and the atmosphere was great. However, the music and the people talking make the quaint place pretty loud, so be sure if you are going there on a date, get a table where you can sit next to the person instead of across. Also, the portions were tiny, which my date didn't know, so he was starving even have two plates and a dessert (which took over 40 minutes). Not the first place I'd pick to go out, but I wouldn't mind trying it again.
Not only does it take 5 minutes to let SOME of the grease drip out of the pizza, but also the place is gross. They also have a hard time following food orders (or something because they mess up fairly often) and make you come up several times instead of hand everything to you at once. Annoying and not worth the headache.
This place is in between RiteAid and the place that makes edible arrangements. Although I'll never order from that Subway again due to horrible manners and customer service I received there, I still recommend Electric City Pizza.
I love the outside and the inside of this building. It's very aesthetically pleasing and feels a little too chic to be in Scranton (which for some reason, I enjoy). Moving on, certain nights of the week (I believe it's the weekends) at certain times of the year (trust, this special is only when the college students are around) they sell pizza for a dollar a slice and allow you to use plastic to pay for it. Normally, it's 1.75 a slice, which is way too much since Good Fella's has better pizza by a long shot. But when it's cheap, this is the place to be. Especially when drunk.
This was my favorite place to go to in the fall, with their delicious apple cider (which goes great with apple cinder donuts). The strawberry donuts (frosting and no frosting) are also scrumptious. It's great for getting lunch to go too or if you need a variety drink selection. I wouldn't substitute it for ShopRite, but I'm sure you get the idea.
The food is okay but it's so unkept! I had a friend who worked in the back and the manager is a sexual harassing scumbag (this was a few years ago so things may have changed) and they barely washed dishes (especially the silverware!). Eww. Plus they undercook the taylor ham which is a very big "don't do" in my book. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!
I went here once with a friend and the only reason I haven't been back is because it's a pain to pull in and out of their parking lot (that's 206 for you). However, the food I had was great but I thought it was a tad over priced. Perhaps I'll go back some day, but for everyone else it's worth trying at least once.
