I took a friend here one time the day of prom to get her hair done. The hair dresser kept complaining how long her hair was and took two hours to curl it, something I could have done for my friend myself in half the time, and proceeded to charge her a ridiculous sum for the hair "style" (I believe it was around $120 when on the phone they said between $50 to $75). Grant it, it was a last minute appointment and the only place in the area that had availability, but I advise not going here for a prom or formal if it can be helped.
They have some great bartenders, delicious food options (the eggplant parmesan is phenomenal), and reasonable prices. Plus there are several TV's and occasional live music. What's not to love? I highly recommend.
I believe the pharmacy on Linden St. is pretty bad and this place is even worse. It's a pretty big space for carrying so few things. The few times I went there they never had anything I needed, so now I just drive to CVS instead.
I LOVE this place. The prices are so reasonable for the delicious youre stomach gets to have. They have the best stuffed clams and tons of sushi options for the seafood lovers. Highly Recommended!
Food is delicious! The staff is constantly restocking to be sure the food is hot and fresh. There are tv's in the buffet to which at first I thought was odd, but it means you can still have a nice night out with friends and not miss the big game.
Can sometimes be convenient and other times a real headache. I feel they are a lot more expensive than the other grocery stores in the area and they need to do a better job of plowing their parking lot. Will go here, but only when I have to.
This place has a great location, being right next to a bar and across the street from the U. If only the quality of food was better, then it would be perfect. They deliver though, which is a plus.
As an undergraduate at the U, I used to go here for cheap hair cuts. It's great if you are a U of S student because not only do they give you a discount, but they also accept royal card. They didn't do too bad of a job either.
I have been here once or twice while attending the U and while they do an okay job, you would get a lot more for your buck somewhere else. I would not recommend, instead try K&K in Dickson City.
A friend of mine used to work here before she moved to Florida. They have delicious Italian food and place mats with Italian facts on them, which makes conversation topics or a perfect mat to doodle on while waiting for your food. I would recommend.
