We go here for Sunday lunches, Friday evenings with friends, and after occasional week night after a meeting. The place is broken up in three section; the game area with darts and billiards, the bar area, and the dinning area which is a great place to watch one of the games. The menu has a wide selection but don't look for a kids menu. The one draw back is that it not kid friendly so leave the kids home.
My daughter is not into school but she did this camp for a week and had a great time. One of the experiments didn't work because the small plastic piece was broken. We had to put together a home-made replacement so the kids could do it the next day. That's how interested she was about doing the work at camp.
OK so it's in a strip plaza with a lot of restaurants. But if you find this place, you found good eats. When we have a special dinner, we think of this place. When we had a bunch of family come to town, we though of this place. The wait staff is the best period. Mr. Whittaker has treat my kids wonderfully. The food is bar none. And if you don't think so mention it to the owner because he will check on you sometime during your visit. Luckily, they have expanded over the years to fit the crowd. We go there on a lot of off nights for birthdays and they are always packed.
I found this place via the Internet. We went through Boone, past the Mast general store, turned off the main road, and followed the river. Then we got to our destination. This place is quiet and relaxing. Just what we were looking for on our anniversary weekend. The room was very nice and the food was good. Our hosts made us feel right at home.
We went on a Friday. It must have been a special one. There were musicians. What my wife and I liked most was the range of work. The artist are the ones who run the shop. So you get a lot more information on the pieces. It was a very nice evening.
It does remind me of good New York pizza. Thin crust, dripping good cheese. Their lunch special is reasonable. I remember once stopping by after a late softball game. Even late, those guys were hustling. I must not be the only one who think of their slices late at night.
When I think of car service, I think of getting around in New York City. It beats the taxis. In Raleigh, Whitehorse is the service to use. My company uses them. Every time, the driver has been good and friendly.
We moved here in 1996. Jim's office was across the street from our apartment at the time. We haven't looked for another agent since. I have had to stop by once or twice and the staff has always been helpful and friendly. There was a question once on my dad's property and whether flood insurance we needed. The folks in the office helped us convince the new mortgage company that it wasn't needed.
I have been going here for many years. At first they were the only thing near work. Now, there a lot of co-workers who use them. One morning while dropping off my car, there were two other co-workers dropping off theirs. Many of us use them and continue to go back to them. What else do you need to know.
I went there to get a gift for the wife. The staff was very helpful. They showed me several items in my price range. I had the kids with me so they were very patient with me. I got good service and a present that my wife liked.
