Dr. Wilson is a great practitioner. He has a gentle touch and wonderful bedside manners. He is very consistent and thorough in explaining step-by-step the procedures. He is very informative and makes sure you understand everything before moving forward. The prices are fair and they offer several payment options.
Giovanni's has been serving authentic Italian dishes for the past 20+ years. The food is well-seasoned and fairly tasty. The service was good and the prices are modest compared to what you actually get on your plate.
I was not at all impressed with the menu choices and the mediocre (almost snobbish) service. I should have known better than to go to a French-style restaurant without an advance preview of the menu. It would have saved a big headache and subsequent domestic disagreement on date night.
My sister and her husband were so excited to try Benji's, they arrived grinning and hands entwined. By the time they finished arguing about the menu choices, the entire restaurant was watching a great sparring match. They eventually left, unhappy and unfed with fists tightened and each other in a headlock! Unless you are a serious lover of Basque food, save your time, money, and marriage and DON'T GO!! However, if you are trying to ditch someone, bring 'em here and order the tongue appetizer!
P.S. They only get a star because they're making me do it.
Darwin is the inspiration for the shop's name - he's BAD! And I mean that in a good way. He has a new shop and it is always clean and neat. They stay busy, so make sure you either have an appointment or are prepared to wait for an empty chair. Prices are reasonable and the staff are really personable and the cuts are off the hook!
J's makes authentic, down home, REAL southern cooking seem like an art form. The food was so good, I had to get up and stop by the kitchen to check if my creole Grandmother was at the stove!
I love that the doctors get to know each patient! I have been going for years and I always feel comfortable. They are professional and the best-skilled around. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming.
Bill has been providing quality uniforms and sports paraphernalia for many years - first at his location in Richmond and now in this Rodeo locale. He does a great job with custom orders in screen prints, embroidery, and tackle-twill. His selection of negro League Baseball merchandise is tops in the area. His prices are reasonable and the quality of the merchandise he sells is A+. He is personable and very knowledgeable of all things sports. He is a great resource!
Mary & Joe's has been a staple in the Albany community for many, many years. They have a great selection of sporting goods including equipment, safety gear, uniforms, paraphernalia, and awards. They have built a great symbiotic relationship with surrounding communities as well. Even though their prices tend to be a little higher than other places, many of us still patronize M&J because we know they have always been very committed to supporting local schools and sports teams. Money spent locally actually stays local!
My husband and I have been going to Albany PT for many years. The staff is knowledgeable and skilled while still managing to be personable. They really focus on the rehabilitation part of their therapeutic firm - challenging you to get to know the triggers points that will allow you to get stronger and healthier. Safety and strength and self-esteem!
