My husband and I stayed at this B&B for our 10 year anniversary. It was a getaway that was right in town. Our room was lovely, we had a large TV that I wasn't expecting to see. Our hostess was very sweet. We enjoyed the conversation with the other guests at breakfast. I would go back again.
Rey's is a very nice restaurant to go to when you have a lot of cash to spend. The interior is very elegant, the waitstaff is experienced to make you feel special. The food is delicious.
I was surprised by how well the pulled-pork sandwich tasted. They had four different sauces to pour on your meat. I liked 'Dickey's Special sauce' the best. The sides were just okay, but better than other places I've tried.
My husband and I always chose El Rodeo when we feel like eating Mexican. The chicken burritos are our favorite. The prices are reasonable and the service is quick.
If you are tired of window shopping at the mall, the NC State Fairgrounds is an option to do some browsing. The prices are higher than yard sales for the used stuff. Most of the booths are meant to bring attention to collectors. The furniture shops inside show some nice antiques as well.
Every time I go to Ted's Montana Grill, I get the buffalo Burger. It is a great burger and I think better than a their regular beef burger. The staff has also always been pleasant and accommodating.
My girlfriend took me to Winston's for my birthday this year and it was the best meal I had all year! Our waiter, Taz, was entertaining and a very enjoyable part of the evening. My food was excellent. I had enough left over to take home and eat the next day. It was as good then as it was the first night. We topped the evening off with the Bananas Foster. It was the most delicious thing I have ever tasted.
A friend suggested we go here for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised. Their eggplant sandwich was very tasty. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back.
Movie theaters in this area are all pretty comparable. The stadium seating makes viewing a pleasure. The theater is kept clean. Concessions are outrageously priced. If you want to see a first run movie, though, this is the place to go. When Harry Potter came out, they had about most of the screens showing it so you didn't have to wait long to get in.
This is a fairly new restaurant so it wasn't crowded when I was there. The food is Mediterranean and everything is fresh. The staff is friendly and the service is prompt. I purchased gift cards to encourage my friends to try it. You won't be disappointed.
