I accompanied my Girlfriend to Dr. Darnell's office for a new kitten exam. We were not greeted or acknowledge right away, finally after a long wait we were put in a room.
The technician was very informative and did not seem like a car sales man, she was genuinely nice and wanted whats best for our new kitten. The tech then offered us water or coffee while we waited for the Doctor to come in. I can hear in the background a woman going off on an employee than rambling about some contractor issue, it was as if she wanted the whole hospital to know. The exam was very brief and the doc seemed very pushy about recommendations that we had decided not to do. She cut us off twice while answering her questions. At time of checking out I can still hear the Dr. going off again, she is extremely loud without limits or concerns of clients in the lobby.I feel for the staff that has to work with such a "child". The moral of the hospital is very low, not a happy place at all. I cant remember your name, but to the tech that attended to us I thank you for keeping such a good attitude! you deserve to work for a better place.
Overall the hospital was a disaster, the floors were filthy, the lobby messy, the outdoors very dirty. The receptionists very lazy, sitting there talking instead of cleaning the lobby. I will not be coming to this place again, its too expensive and the doc is extremely unprofessional. (Dr.Darnell, keep your personal business to yourself, discipline your employees in your office, not out in the middle of the hospital for the whole lobby to hear)!
