The service, drinks and food at Miramar is top notch! We were there during happy hour (daily 2:30-6:00pm) and enjoyed $3 drinks (margarita on the rocks and bloody mary - both delicious!) and $4 appetizers (fried clam strips and fried calamari - excellent!) We also had clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl and it was sooooo good!
Main Street Grill is located inside the Marriott Walnut Creek...there is no outside signage, FYI. The restaurant is open to the hotel lobby and their service is excellent. Their food isn't bad either...we had a Caesar salad, halibut and a bacon cheeseburger.
I used to really LOVE Cold Stone Creamery and came here as often as my guilty conscience would allow...but in the past couple of years, their ice cream (chocolate, it's all I've ever ordered) seems to have gotten too sweet. Haven't been to any Cold Stone since then.
This Del Taco is located right off Somersville Road on the left side as you're heading towards Costco. I've only had one item off their menu, which is the Ultimate Taco. It's not bad...better than Jack In The Box tacos, but not as good as Green Burrito tacos.
I used to get the #24 sandwich (turkey and avocado with Provolone) at this Togo's all the time when I lived in Brentwood and Discovery Bay years ago. I did notice the quality and quantity of their sandwiches to decline, as they used to be really good...now they're just average.
The location that Boardwalk Grill is in used to be "Discovery Joe's" and I'm not surprised they didn't last. Although I was skeptical about trying Boardwalk Grill, I was not disappointed...I had the BEST lunch here! They make an excellent Asian chicken wrap and I highly recommend it if you're in the mood for a light, refreshing meal.
This L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is located on Lone Tree, just West of the Highway 4 Bypass in the Home Depot parking lot. They have okay plate lunches, but a little too much rice and not enough macaroni salad, if you ask me.
I've been to this Red Lobster a few times years ago and the funny thing is what I seem to remember are their delicious cheese biscuits! They're located near the theaters, so parking can sometimes be a hassle even though there are a lot of parking spaces around the restaurant.
I don't think there are any Jamba Juice locations I've been to that I didn't like...they have great consistency and I only remember one time (in the hundreds of Jamba Juices I've had) that I got a "bad" juice. It wasn't here, though...this one's great!
El Camino Restaurant has been in their location forever...it's practically a Brentwood icon! The food is pretty good and the decor is very typical. It's a great place for large groups since they can accommodate those well. Just don't expect "really great" Mexican food or awesome service and you won't be disappointed.
