Stevenson Ranch, CA
This is my favorite sushi restaurant, mostly because of the Westridge roll. It has changed since they got new ownership though and not for the best. Service isn't that great but the sushi is good.
Had my rehearsal dinner here. Once the "piason" manager found out it was for a gay wedding he immediately tried to steer us to another restaurant. We stated we wanted to have it there, since we had always had good experiences there. We left our deposit he told us to come back in a week to make sure this was the place we wanted to have the dinner. The next week we returned, picked the room we wanted and choose our menu. The manager again asked if we were sure we wanted to have our dinner there. Should have heeded the managers pushes to have us go else where. On the day of the occasion our party of 25 showed up. We were informed that we had no reservation and that our room was already occupied. The host staff quickly went to the manager and made arrangements for us to have another room. We had to wait for approximately 30 minutes for them to clear it out. It was a walk way for the servers so we constantly had foot traffic. (which is the reason we originally didn't choose this room). It was obvious the wait staff was embarrassed and they did a good job from that point. When the bill came they had no record of our deposit so the waitress had to go back to the manager, (who by the way never left his back office nor came out to offer any sort of apology to us), who then found the deposit. Never in my life have I felt this type of discrimination. It was very humiliating and almost ruined a very special occasion. Will never return to this restaurant or any of the other chains. We did complain to the corporate headquarters where the district manager only stood up for his manager and told us we must have just misunderstood. Uh, no, its very obvious when you are not wanted somewhere. Guess the economy must not be hurting them too much since they don't want certain peoples money.
This a great bar/restaurant. It is an open air format but they also have inside seating. The food and drinks are great. The only two things that could be improved is their service and the cleanliness of the restrooms. The atmosphere is so great that these are easily overlooked though. I recommend getting there early as it does get crowded.
Made three trips to the dealership to look at the car I was interested in buying. I never got anyone to help me. Once I literally stood in the showroom for 15 minutes looking at a car and not one person approached me. The last and final straw was when a sales man came out introduced himself, when I told him what car I wanted to look at and test drive he told me he had to get someone else to help me. I waited over 10 minutes and no one ever came back out. Ended up going to Keyes, got help as soon as I got on the lot and purchased my car from them. Also, one side note. Took my car to Valencia to have them look at a problem I was having. They informed me I had a recall, they fixed that problem but said they couldn't find anything wrong with the car. Took the car to Keyes a few weeks later. They fixed the problem. Will never go to Valenica Mercedes again.
