Lived here for a year; my feelings were mixed. Rent was pretty horrible, especially considering there is still a void downtown of anything to do besides ultra lounges. The management (same as Mosaic and DP&L) was uncaring about your issues, and seemed generally just unpleasant to deal with no matter what the issue. We had so many incidents in the overpriced parking garage that I quickly lost count...theft, and plenty of vandalism. But the leasing office was impossible to work with to fix these problems. There is zero security in the garage, so just expect something to happen to your vehicle at some point here. And you get the privilege of paying $60 a month (unreserved) for that. Reserved spots were something around 100/month. And then there was the partying...you can expect a 50% chance of having a neighbor that's partying before and after they get back from the clubs...and to leave a mess in the hallways and elevators. Most every Saturday and Sunday AM you got the pleasure of smelling old beer and liquor and cigarette smoke in the hallway and elevator. And of course, the street noise. That never stops, and with Club Clear, and now Plush, and Buddha....there's PLENTY of clubbers getting out at 2am and yelling down on the street. Did I mention the parking garage across the street that's part of the Adolphus? They honk the horns in there 24/7... hope you enjoy that sort of thing.
Overall a very pleasant place to live. I had good experiences with neighbors about 80% of the time. The parking garage was free (or used to be at least), and the location was nice to be able to walk to the American Airline center and Victory Park area. The pool/hot tub was very nice, and the fitness center was a good size. Rent was even a decent price; around $1400 for 1200sq ft.
Very impressed with this place; they have a good selection of groceries here, and a top-notch staff to help you out. There's even a Central Market style area with dishes ready to take home and heat up. Also a bank is attached. Highly recommended.
After hit by a drunk driver running a red light (and totaled my car) I retained the Rad Law firm as counsel. They took care of everything, and did all of the leg work to negotiate a settlement between the insurance company for the party at fault and myself. I wouldn't want to go through the process without an attorney, and I was glad to have Rad handle it for me.
Took in my Ducati for a standard repair of a leaky base gasket (rear cylinder), what should have been a straightforward repair turned into a months-long ordeal. I've dealt with this shop for Ducati work several times and had similar results every time. Cannot recommend them at all (unless you just want to smoke cigarettes with the guys out back in the garage while little to no work gets done). If you want work done, check out other Ducati dealerships in Dallas.
They do mostly patio furniture...but I brought in a pair of old wheels from my motorcycle and had them powdercoated with a gold flake. They know what they're doing with motorcycle parts more or less...and know to tape off certain areas where bearings need to go, etc. The price was very reasonable, too. Black is by far the cheapest to shoot, though...they're pretty good at working with you.
Can't say too much more than that, really. Went with a friend for dinner yesterday, and the server didn't seem to show much interest in our table at all...he only bothered to interact with us to take our order and bring the check basically. But probably more importantly, after having the chicken mole', I was already feeling something going on in my stomach before we left the restaurant. By the time I got home...well, let's just say it wasn't pretty.
I've been here with friends a few times, and have had a good time...the food is good, and the prices are decent. The tequila selection is killer, and the service is very good.
I've been here a few times; always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The prices aren't too bad... and it's a classy place to bring a date. Definitely recommended.
Lots of good beers on tap here...they have lots of specials running most nights; check the website for details. Food is good, and not to pricey. Jenga is available...along with other arcade games. Cool place...covered patio also. Not a ton of parking.
