I love going to Farmer John's. Their produce is beautiful and very good! Most things they sell are grown locally. If you like fresh tomatoes, you have to try Farmer John's. They are so good. The prices are very good, way less than you would spend at a grocery store. The staff is friendly, and the store is clean. Since the money you spend stays in the community, it is a great way to support local growers.
The last time my laptop broke, I took it to the General Computer Store. The man who runs the place is very nice and really knowledgeable. The price is good, and they don't try to talk you into buying fancy parts that cost a lot. The store is very slow about returning your computer, but they do a good job.
Boomerang sells very unique and one of a kind pieces of furniture. Their selection is constantly changing. Every time I go in they have new items. A good deal of the furniture has a retro feel to it. The staff is friendly and can answer most questions you have about particular pieces. Most of the items are very well priced. I bought nightstands from there at a steal. I would recommend the store to anyone looking for something unique and original to go in their home.
My wife is addicted to Lush cosmetics. Whenever a special occasion comes up, or when I feel like bringing a surprise home for her, I always stop by Lush to pick up a few bath bombs or bubble bath. The staff is very helpful when it comes to suggesting just the right things to get. The products are handmade with natural ingredients. They are a little pricey, but the quality it worth it. The company is also very eco-friendly which makes me feel better about giving them my money. Anyone looking for a gift to give the women in their life should consider Lush.
My wife and I used to enjoy going to Happy China II before it moved to its new location. Since moving into what used to be a Chinese Buffet, Happy China II's food has declined in quality. The service is still incredibly good. The staff has always been very friendly and attentive, but I wish they had kept their old off the menu style instead of changing to the buffet they now have. When we went to the new location it was just a disappointment.
Cherokee Batting Ranges is where my team goes to practice during softball season. The prices are excellent and the equipment is new and well maintained. It is an excellent value, and is close to several large softball complexes. It is easy to go to on a weekend for a little extra practice or after practice to sharpen your skills.
My child goes to Kennesaw Pediatrics. The office has been recently remodeled and is very clean and interesting for children. The toys seem to distract from the wait time and the exam itself. They are good about getting you in right at your appointment time, and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this pediatric office to any parent.
A few months ago, I took my car to KM Auto Repair for them to diagnose and fix a problem. After I dropped my car off, I did not hear back from them for days. I called them to ask what was going on and they said that they had been busy and would get around to looking at my car later that day. They said that they would give me a call as soon as they had a chance to look at it. I didn't hear back from them that day or the next day. Finally, I just went and picked up my still broken and still not looked at car. I went to a chain car repair store and they had it fixed within two hours. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!
The Harbourview Inn is a romantic place to stay. It is located right off of the pier overlooking Charleston Harbor. You can either get a room that overlooks the historic district of Charleston or the harbor itself. When my wife and I go, we always get a harbor room. It is very peaceful. The hotel is beautiful and the amenities they offer are matched by no other hotel in Charleston. If you stay at this inn, you may not even want to leave your room! It is close to everything, offers free valet parking, and is worth the little extra you pay for it.
If you are looking for somewhere to go to lunch in downtown Atlanta, you should try Vickery's. The food is fantastic. The service is prompt, professional, and friendly. The atmosphere is perfect for anything from a business lunch to a date. If you go, try the Cuban or the Fried Egg Sandwich. Both are fantastic. The prices are relatively low for the quality of food you are getting. Everyone should check this place out at least once!
