I really enjoyed Deep Blue Bar and Grill when I went. I loved the atmosphere and everyone that helped us. The food was delicious and the wine was perfect with our meal, recommended by the waitress!
I frequent Sungate Diner just about every time I visit my family. They have definitely done a lot with the place and made it a good diner experience. Majority of the time your food will be perfect and quick!
Christy's Tavern is definitely one of those neighborhood bars. They have some bar games and a bartender that has been there for years. Exactly what you would expect.
Seamus Mulligan's Pub does have an all you can eat crab night but the line is normally out the door, they could use more seating. For the bar scene the crowd is typically much older. And dont sit at the bar by the band unless you dont enjoy hearing.
Just Enuff Lounge has a good amount of space. Sometimes it can get crowded so you'll wait for a drink. I've been in when they had a good band so I really enjoyed myself but it seems like it attracts an older crowd.
Iacovino's Tavern is what you can expect from a neighborhood bar. It is small, has a wrap around bar, a couple of tv, two pool tables and a jukebox. The bartenders are nice and the crowd is normally the same.
Stanley's has a pretty extensive salad bar that I recommend with every meal or as a meal! They also have pretty good appetizers like their wings and their drafts are always really fresh.
I like Catherine Rooney's Irish Pub for the early night scene. The front bar and entrance is too small and gets really crowded later on in the night for me.
Barnaby's has a great deck! I love going to Barnaby's in the summer and spring, especially on Saturday or Sunday afternoons for a beer or two and a yummy appetizer. They also have a great happy hour crowd.
Bootleggers is a huge establishment and has some really good bands and entertainment and parties to attend. However, the crowd they bring in sometimes leaves a lot to be desired.
