I transferred my State Farm policies from a different state when I moved to Raleigh. Went with Chad on a recommendation even though there are agents closer to my home. Great customer service, friendly staff; always available for questions. I know have not only auto and homeowner's through Chad, but individual medical as well.
Living in a FSC neighborhood gets you a discounted membership, but even at regular price, you get access to two golf courses, 4 gym/athletic clubs and pools in the Raleigh/Johnston County area; some with spray parks and lazy rivers. Bigger neighborhoods like Riverwood and Lion's Gate can get crowded on weekends, but still good variety, something for everyone at a good price.
Dr Joe, his wife, Dr. Gina and their colleagues at North Raleigh Primary Care run a top notch practice! I needed to go for a sensitive issue and Dr Gina was not available. Time was of the essence, so I saw Dr Joe instead. I need not have worried, he put me at ease with his professionalism and I walked out feeling confident that my concerns were addressed. Wouldn't go anywhere else for primary care in the Triangle!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this practice and Dr. Gina in particular. Time is made during appointments to talk, while still dressed, before and after exams. Concerns are adequately addressed. This really puts the patient at ease and makes them feel welcomed and valued! Wouldn't go anywhere else for primary care in the Triangle
I just got the news that the newly remodeled Franks is open for business and it's sure to be on our "must do" list when we visit this summer. Great pizza, family atmosphere, the waitresses know and remember you! Can't wait to go back!
I started my children at Diamond Gymnastics when they were 3 and 4. The weekday preschool programs were fabulous and both of my children flourished. Tammy and Damien were fantastic. Sadly, we've moved from the area and are no long taking gymnastics because we cannot find a place that comes near reaching the excellence at Diamond Gymnastics. Another family with whom we took classes finds themselves in the same predicament, so it's not just us! My daughter, now 5, just asked the other day when I was going to find her "a gymnastics place with a pit, like at Miss Tammy's" Thanks for a wonderful experience!
I've heard people rave about Dominic's so took my family there the first time they came to visit from NY. It's passable, but we weren't all that impressed. It does have the NY counter pizza place ambiance, but the pizza itself is just missing something.
In it's newest incarnation, this is the place you always end up when you can't think of anywhere else to go. The large menu means there is something for everyone and you'll usually see at least one person you know.
My favorite place to eat hand's down! You cannot get a bad meal, service is great, dessert is superb. I still have not recovered from the heavenly experience of Eggnog Chiffon Pie and it's been close to 10 years!
I was in the process of moving to Raleigh and was to make a 12 hour drive the next day to finish my move when my transmission starting acting up. Went here on a rec. Showed up at the door, they fit me in, DROVE me to my hotel and and then, when nothing showed up in diagnostic testing, DIDN'T EVEN CHARGE ME!!!! The car made it safely round trip and the transmission has not acted up again in two years, but if it does, you can bet that this is where I'm going!
