Simply the most honest place I've ever been. I took my wife's car in for routine transmission service. I was told I didn't need it for another 20,000 miles. There was nothing wrong with the car, just thought it needed scheduled maintenance. Thanks, Stan & Steve, for saving me money. See you when I'm ready!
My wife & I purchased a hand-knotted wool rug that fits beautifully in our dining room. During our first Thanksgiving, a guest knocked over a freshly-poured (whole) glass of red wine. I thought my wife was going to have a heart attack. The first place we found was Ace. We called as soon as they opened, took the rug in, and they were able to get 100% of the wine out. Very happy with the service.
Very simple to rent and easy to get in and out. No hassles. Honest people with clean facility. Process from beginning to move-in was simple, easy and only took about 10 minutes. Call their phone # and rent on-the-spot.
Today, I called A&B because my dog urinated on my carpet due to the thunderstorms we had last night. When I called, I got to the owner's voicemail - Bruce Baker. The message that I left was that I work out of my home office and to please call me back.
When he called me right back (only by looking at his caller ID and hitting SEND on his phone, instead of listening to his voicemail to call me on a different number), I mentioned that I was a former yellow pages rep and he INSTANTLY assumed that I was calling to solicit his business. The fact of the matter is this: I WORKED with the very person who does his yellow pages advertising and they recommended I call Bruce to clean my carpets. I've never used a Chem Dry before and had only had my rugs steam cleaned, so I was going on the recommendation.
Nothing - NOTHING - is further from the truth that I was trying to solicit business. He just ASSUMED I was.
Bruce went on and on about how I should just leave a voicemail about what I was "REALLY" calling about. He NEVER let me state that I wanted to have him clean my carpets and hung-up on me. I was in TOTAL shock.
I called Bruce back, to which he stated, and I quote: "Oh, you're one of those" and he hangs up on me.
Bruce - I know you'll eventually read this: You are, by far, the RUDEST business owner I've ever spoken to. If this is how you treat your referrals, simply because I USED to be in yellow pages advertising, I only hope your business goes down the drain. Companies are BEGGING for business and I assure you - I will share with EVERYONE I know just EXACTLY how you treated me - and that you NEVER had an opportunity to gain my business from the second you misjudged me.
I have already called your competition. I have also contacted Chem Dry's corporate office in Utah to complain about your UNBELIEVABLY RUDE business practices: misjudging people, and giving "Chem Dry" a horrible name.
