San Diego, CA
I had visited one of those $499 per eye / free consultation locations in LA. The Optometrist at the office had told me that I should wait for at least 1 year before considering LASIK because my prescription changed. The next week I got a call from the LASIK company saying that I was a good candidate and would I like to schedule my surgery. Needless to say, I hung up and threw away their number.
I was very diligent in my research and when I came across the San Diego Lasik Institute's website I must say I was impressed. They certainly know what they are doing in terms of marketing themselves. I found that everything that people said about treating you like family and Dr. Pham really caring and taking the time with his patients is all true. Dr. Pham took the time to answer all of my questions (a few of which were technical questions I had about the procedure from all the research I had done on Lasik). Dr. Pham even called me personally on the day of surgery to follow up about how I was doing! I can now see 20/15 and I love every minute of it.
A few deciding factors for me:
- The laser they use is approved for Lasik on Navy pilots and astronaut
- Dr. Pham's enhancement rate is below 1% and at the time I did my procedure he said he hadn't done an enhancement for 2.5 years.
- No hidden costs, absolutely none at all
- All inclusive service: includes an enhancement and punctal plugs for a year at no extra charge
Thanks to the whole staff at the San Diego Lasik Institute. I'm so happy with my vision and I wouldn't have my friends and family go anywhere else!
