If you are a meat lover Chima is the place for you! All you can eat meat and salad bar for a fixed price. Basically how it works is you have this disc and when you flip it over the servers come by with various types of meats. You also get unlimited sides of the most amazing mashed potatoes I have ever tasted!
One of my favorite lunch options at Reading Terminal, Originial Turkey makes delicious fresh sandwhiches. The sandwhiches are even large enough to share!
For fresh bread or sweet treats Metropolitan Bakery is a sure bet though they can be a bit over-priced and over-rated. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but if you're in the area.
The Ritz is an excellent small movie theater in old city. The theater tends to show more independent or foreign films. It has an old school charm, I recommend checking it out!
12th Street Cantina has a wide menu and all of the food that I've tasted so far is quite tasty! Not only are they located in Reading Terminal but they also offer catering services.
4th Street Cookie Co makes delicious and frsh cookies! They fulfill my sweet tooth prefectly. The cookies make a great gift as well! Be sure to stop by Reading Terminal for this sweet treat!
Jay's Deli is convenient when you need to pick up a loaf of bread or a carton of milk. They also have fresh deli meats and cheeses and make delicious sandwiches.
I always have a fun time at the Bayou! I usually hang out at the upstairs bar where it tends to be a little less crowded. They usually have good specials.
Castle Roxx is great fun! They often have live music, the beers and food are good and cheap and the company is great! I highly recommend hitting this up before the more expensive bars on Main St.
Dawson Street Pub is a pretty good time. The food and service are both really good. The vide is fun although it can get a bit crowded, especially on the weekends.
