Wabi Sabi has a big varied menu with many Traditional and California style choices. I found it a bit inconsistent but mostly good when I have gone. It has a modern, contemporary atmosphere, in the heart of Venice. A bit pricey.
Blue Marlin has a mix of asian choices. The sea bass was very good and the curry dishes are tasty. There were some interesting choices that did not appeal to me. Nicely decorated ocean theme, friendly service, located on Sawtelle and never crowded.
Niko Niko is a good place for Japanese food. It has an extensive menu and the sushi is quite good. It has the traditional sushi as well as the California style sushis like CA roll, caterpillar roll, volcano, etc...The dinner combinations are very good as well. The lunch menu has some good specials so if you are on a budget come for happy hour or at lunch.
This place has been around for years and its a Burbank classic! A fifty's diner. Great for breakfast and lunch. Fair prices and friendly staff. Consistently good.
Not many places to go for Japanese food in Burbank so this is where we usually end up. Zono has a little bit of everything and the combination dinners will fill you up. Typical Japanese fare. Service can be very slow. The whole family can find something they will eat here.
Offered through the Culver City Recreation Center, this soccer camp is exceptional. All instructors are from abroad England/Ireland and are highly skilled. Good mix between skill work and games.
This is the BEST place for pancakes and waffles! There is no comparison to anywhere else! The Dutch apple pancakes are to die for! You can't go wrong here!
This is a great place for burgers and tacos. Big menu with lots of choices but they have 2 for 1 specials on this two items. Big bar on inside with a surfers motif.
Dr. Kajikawa is an excellent eye doctor. He is detailed and observant of any changes in the eyes. He has a very helpful staff. Good selection of eyewear.
With so many frozen yogurt places around to choose from, this one ranks pretty low. Only two flavor choices, original tart or mango. The mango tasted like real mango but both were a bit more watery than what I'm used to. Toppings were basic fare too, fruit or dry choices. Also, had plain mochi. Comparable prices to Pinkberrry.
