Cube is a nice addition to Japanese Village Plaza in Little Tokyo. They offer hip street fashion for men and women. Inside has casual contemporary feel. Fun place to check out.
First Cup Caffe is a great place to have coffee and pastries for breakfast or sandwiches for lunch. They also cater and I have ordered their sandwich basket and cookie basket. They were fresh and tasty. Portion was plentiful and the size of a cookie is about the size of my face! Nice cafe in Dowontown LA.
Footland Sports is located at Japanese Village Plaza in Little Tokyo. They have a great variety of sneakers. Brands they carry are Addidas, Nike, Puma, J Shoes and more. It is not a big store but they have great selections of sneakers that can be hard to find elsewhere.
Nice & casual Italian restaurant located in Hollywood & Highland shopping center. They have nice patio area that is perfect for sunny days. They have reasonably priced lunch specials. Healthier option compare to other restaurants in this shopping center.

Unurban is a small cozy neighborhood cafe. It is a great place to get a cup of coffee and hang out with friends. You have to find street parking which can be difficult sometime.

Taqueria Sanchez has a wide variety of Mexican dishes from tacos to shrimp cocktails. I have tried tacos, burritos, nachos, and shrimp cocktails. Shrimp cocktails didn't have much flavor but other dishes were great! Reasonable and cozy.
There are not many great Chinese restaurants in the Westside, but this place is a hidden gem! They serve delicious spicy Szechwan style Chinese food for reasonable prices. I love their vegetable dishes like Yu Hsiang Eggplant (eggplant with hot garlic and ginger sauce) and Ma Po Tofu.
