Low priced Chinese supermarket with mediocre produce. However, it has a good fresh seafood selection and the price cannot be beat for live crab and lobster.
For Westside Asian food, this place is OK. They can competently prepare the chicken rice, their national dish, but it is nothing special. They do provide large portions.
This is a family run homey place to get decent Persian food. The food is a bit pricey for the portion sizes but the food is authentic and tasty. The eggplant dish is very good.
This place does a good job on the barbequed meat but I cannot say much about the other Korean dishes. There is not much ambiance - the place looks old and dated.
This supermarket has great selection, great produce, great bargains. They specialize in selling produce in bulk quantities. Great place to get Korean grapes and Asian pears in boxes.
This place is one of the original restaurants from the old Chinatown but it is a tourist trap. We went there for dim sum and it was mediocre. It lacks authenticity in its food and caters to tourists.
Nice fairly upscale place with decent prices. I don't think it really has figured out what it wants to be. The menu is fairly kid friendly, but has a fairly adult atmosphere.
This place has good sushi at decent prices. Nice pleasant decor and good service. When I was there, I saw a number of Japanese businessmen enjoying the food.
I have had several shoes cleaned, shined and re-soled here. The results have been OK - the place is a bit pricey for the results they provide. After just a few months, I needed to have my shoes re-done.
Homey atmosphere (be sure to check out the record sized trout on the wall). Typical diner food - traditional American breakfasts, meatloaf covered in gravy, etc. Good homemade pies. Can get crowded.
