Alibi room
This once sketchy/scary dive bar has been transformed into a great bar with a cool and soothing atmosphere. That used to be reason enough to go there. Now you must go for the food too. The infamously twittered about Kogi Korean BBQ has set up shop in the kitchen at the Alibi Room. They have menu items that cannot be purchased on any of their trucks. The food is phenomenal, especially the pork sliders.
Bigfoot West
Bigfoot West is a kitchy new bar near Culver City on Venice Blvd. If you have enjoyed its sister bars in Atwater and SF, then this is a must. The log cabin motif, with animals on the walls, really enhances the vibe. The selection of beer and alcohol is extensive and delicious. The crowd is a mix so anyone would enjoy this place. They have a happy hour starting at 5 and are open 7 night a week.
Akasha
The food is terrific! In addition to their great food they also have an excellent wine list. Check out their happy hour and nightly specials as you can save big time. And I love the atmosphere.
Gonstead Wellness
Dr. Rahim is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable. Both my daughters and I have been going to him for years and have referred many a happy customer.

Smartspace
Juliet and her crew run a top notch camp. It is small, organized and CREATIVE! It is great for 4 1/2 - 10 year olds and runs from 9-2 M-F. My kids always love going and we have been going for 3 years. The instructors are not only very kind and nurturing, but they really know their art and seem to love what they do.
Coast 2 Coast Soccer
My daughter is going on her 4th week in this camp and she loves it! All of the coaches are personable and make the day fun. Oddly my daughter doesn't really love soccer, but she loves this camp. This week we are even hosting a coach! The price is right and the camp runs from 9-2 daily.
Emily N. Kwong, DDS
Emily Kwong is a conscientious and caring Dentist. My daughter recently had two cavities and Dr. Emily was so sweet and gentle with her. My husband, other daughter and I also go to her and she is very thorough and professional. We have known her for years and highly recommend her. An extra added bonus is that she has Saturday hours!
Sublime Food Lounge
Starting in May 2009, Wilson switched their menu to that of a gourmet Mexican restaurant. The switch was a result of the downturn in the economy as their former menu was very pricey.
Their new menu is incredible. The $3 tacos are out of this world as is the tequila selection. They are open for lunch and dinner and I can't recommend it enough!
