To be honest, I was a bit hesitant to pay the membership fee since I figured that I could find another good practice without forking over the dough. In retrospect, I wish that I had made this decision much sooner. The price was well worth it since it basically gets you almost immediate access to first-rate doctors. No more waiting days to get an appointment for me!
I saw Dr. Singh in his Sutter Street office and I really liked him. I liked the way that he took the time to listen to me and gave thoughtful answers to the many questions that I asked as opposed to other doctors who I have seen who seemed like they just wanted to get on to the next patient.
This is definitely a gourmet grocery store and their prices reflect it. That being said, they do have an outstanding range of the little splurges in life. Go ahead, treat yourself. You deserve it.
I'm a big fan of Pluto's since it's great food and a great value. The best thing about it for me is that it's kid friendly and my kids love eating there.
I know it's sacrilegious to go to a chain burrito place in San Francisco, but Chipotle is really good. It's fresh, a great value, and can hold it's own against lots of the other burrito places in town. +1 for their chips and corn salsa. The locals could learn a thing or two from those.
We've been going to Dr. Simons since he opened his new practice and have been very happy with him. He's by far the best doctor that I've every dealt with and wish that I could get a doctor like him for myself as well.
On a whim, I called to see if I could get an appointment and they were able to come in first thing the next morning. The initial question that I had didn't take that long to answer, so they went ahead and cleaned my teeth while I was there! It's a bit cramped and definitely no frills, but fast, friendly, and convenient.
