Booked an appointment for 1-4pm, confirming the day before and reminding the gentleman that the only elevator reservation available this week was for this time slot, I was assured of a smooth execution. On the day of the move, I receive a phone call telling me that they cannot move into another clients residence as intended in the AM , and therefore, not being able to make it to my move today. understanding that this type of stuff happens, I then preceded to get a truck and with help, go and get the furniture myself, which by the way, is on their truck. what truly separated this company from mediocre to criminal is when i show up, I am demanded to pay the hour ($70) in which they loaded the furniture onto their truck and drove to someone else's apartment or take a hike. After something that resembled a shakedown, (which most important, the manager suddenly stops answering my number after it comes down from him to charge me for the time) i paid, left and found that i was missing a sofa cushion and till now, the manager still ceases to return my calls regarding even my missing sofa. After renting a truck, paying someone else to help me, paying the "Brickell Moving & Storage" shakedown fee, the cost of replacing the missing sofa cushion, as well as the late night, ninja style move-into my apartment, i had to execute because of the missed elevator reservation, i am stuck with time away from work and a living room that looks like a frat house.
