I have frequently taken my car to Don's Automotive when it was not performing properly. I have always been satisfied with the work that has been done. The work has been completed in the time projected and cost has been as quoted.
Shemmy's was formerly known as Golden Pond Restaurant. Now with new ownership the name has changed. The restaurant has a good menu and the food is tasty. Hand dipped ice cream as well as soft serve is available too. There is a game room, a driving range and a miniature golf course also connected with the restaurant so it can be a one stop entertainment center for the family.
Paws N Claws is an excellent place to board your four legged family member. All the animals are treated with care and are given much attention daily. Bathing and grooming is available. Just be sure to schedule your pet's vacation in advance since they fill up most weekends and holiday times.
I have had both auto and home owner's insurance with the Lindt agency for many years. They have always been extremely helpful to me and have met all my insurance needs. The annual calendars are nice too!
Berrien Teachers Credit Union has been my choice for banking for about 20 years. I have had savings, checking, and loans with them and I have never had a bad experience. The tellers are very pleasant and seem to remember me from one visit to another. Being able to do banking online has been helpful too.
Ivelise's Yarn Shop has every kind of yarn a person could possible want. The staff is very knowlegable about knitting needle sizes to use with different types of yarn and can offer many useful suggestions for any projects you might have.
I recently stopped at Eleni's and found their menu very broad. I had expected more of a Greek menu and was pleasantly surprised to find a great mix of foods from many ethnicities. Prices were very good and food was tasty.
Millennium Steakhouse is a very nice place to eat. It is quite upscale, with great atmosphere, good food, excellent wait staff, and prices to match. I enjoyed my one visit, but the cost is often out of my usual range.
The Home Plate Restaurant is known for it's homey atmosphere. The food is typical for a small, family restaurant. Lots of sandwiches, both hot and cold. Good sized poortions and reasonable prices.
I have been to Hilltop Cafe for their famous Friday night fish fry. A short wait for a table is not uncommon. But it is worth it. The fish is very tasty. For those who don't like seafood, their menu has many other choices.
