Took a comforter set there once. They couldn't clean it there but took it to another one of their cleaners. Everything worked out fine in the end. I'd recommend them to anyone
I took about a half dozen dress shirts in. Pretty basic right? I had just moved here so they take all my info as a new customer and tell me they'll be done by tomorrow at 3PM. I go back in the next day around 12PM wondering if they were done ahead of schedule so i could use one of the shirts for work. Not only were they not done but i was told they wouldn't be done until the NEXT day. Haven't been back since
oh what a dump. I had to stay there last summer during the olympic trails because all hotels were sold out. You pull in to a gated office where you have to hit a button which chimes to let someone know you're there to be let into the office to check in. You don't spend much time at the front desk so i won't say anything about that. I will mention that the lady apologized for the price being so high (112 bucks a night) but they had raised the price for the olympics and it'd normally be 40 bucks a night. Made me feel much better right? So i'm pondering that as i walk by a broken vending machine and enter my room. Stiff bed that i didn't even want to get into. After deciding not to sleep in my car, i decided to bring my own blankets and just sleep on top of the bed. Broken lopsided mini fridge. Small TV. I recall watching DVDs on my laptop since the screen was bigger. The AC worked though. That's worth a star. Oh before I forget to mention, it's located directly across the street from a strip joint (Phil's Clubhouse). Could come in handy for some of the rogue strippers if you know what i mean.
I use this business as my regular stop for dress shirts once a month. Price is alright, about 1.10 a shirt but suits seems to come out high compared to what i was paying before.
No complaints so far. I'd recommend them to anyone
Who doesn't love puppies in the window? Definetely a big draw as they specialize in "toy dogs". More importantly, they're the only pet store in town that sells puppies with Scamp's being shut down.
Once inside I'll admit it definetely feels small but the help is excellent. I've gotten great advice on things such as dog food, fish care and equipment and cycling a tank. I appreciate the staff's honesty as they attempted to talk me out of a pet for fear that i'd be disappointed that they wouldn't live up to their reputation. I had already done my research and knew this but thought it was a good gesture to warn people.
Livestock includes puppies, freshwater fish, some salt water fish, reptiles, birds, rabbits and guinea pigs.
Food is sold in bulk as well as individual packages so there's alot of great deals when buying bulk.
They also rotate deals on equipment and food which often beats wal-mart and big chain pet stores on a comparison basis.
Aqua Serene is hands down the first stop for anything you could need for your fish tank or pond. Let's just say I've never I walked into a pet store this size and this is just for fish! Tanks, heater, pumps, driftwood, rocks, HOB filter, sump tanks, chemicals, frozen food, salt water stock, reef system, freshwater stalk, cleaning service, etc etc. Literally you name it, they have it.
Besides their impressive fish stock and equipment, there's several information and interesting facts bulletines all over the store (the origins of glofish and how they can be used to detect bad water quality in public water systems?)
Ever been to the aquatic section at petco or pet's mart and had to wait and wait until you go the front desk to ask for help, just for them to page someone so you can wait some more? Don't worry about that here. I've never seen less then 6 people working at once (one at the register, the rest on the sales floor).
This is one of the few old school pet stores left after the mega chains (pet's mart, petco) wiped them out. They have everything you could need for a home pet (birds, fish, ferrets, rabbits etc as well as dog and cat food). The big draw though is the reptile section (Zany Zoo is the only other one in town with reptiles in stock) featuring all kinds of lizards, turtles, snakes and even young alligators.
The staff has always been helpful and will often show you recommendations based on what they actually use in the store.
There's nothing worse then going into a pet store and viewing a fish tank with a dead upside down fish floating at the top and i've yet to experience that there after going twice a month over the last 6 months. Makes you much more confident in your purchase when you don't have to worry about parasites or disease in the tank.
