We like to keep fit and take a variety of vitamins and supplements as well as protein drinks. There are several brands we like, so it was fun to go in and talk to the gentleman who owned All Pro Nutrition. We chatted with him for 20 minutes or so and he had some valuable insights on the supplements we were taking. Both my husband and I enjoyed our visit to this shop and walked out with a new whey protein powder to try out.
I was able to find the supplements we normally take at Vitasecrets. I was very happy to discover them because they have quite a selection of vitamins and herbs at very reasonable prices.
I had the most delicious scone at The Morning Times the other day with a cup of very good coffee. The line out the door was a little daunting, but it moved fast and I had my fill of beverage and scone in a short while. Service was very good.
My husband and I wanted a really nice evening out to enjoy ourselves and our new city. After asking around, we found the Midtown Restaurant. It was heavenly! The food was gourmet and the wine was the perfect accompaniment. Our server was wonderful and took care of us the entire evening. It was truly a wonderful dining experience that we plan on experiencing again and again.
We have connected with some lovely people since we've moved to Raleigh and were given some coffee roasted byt he Carolina Coffee & Tea Company. It was the most delicious brew I'd ever tasted. I contacted the company and have spoken to the proprietors several times. They are so nice, it makes buying coffee from them even more special.
My husband and I have a side business we needed to bring to the modern age and put online. Neither of us are interested in designing our own site, so we turned to Marsha at Templates in Time. She made it so easy and fast to make our selection from the diverse catalogue of templates she has created. We had our site up and operational so fast, it literally took my breath away. Marsha is a very smart lady and was a pleasure to work with.
We thought about the rental option for our furniture needs and took a look at the stock from Aaron's Office Furniture. They have the industry standard items. Unfortunately, our office has an odd shape and large pieces just won't work. We appreciated their time, but their solution wasn't our solution.
We visited Chris and Amber's New and Used Furniture space to see what kinds of items they had. I'm not adverse to the idea of refinishing a few key pieces of furniture, as long as they are the right pieces for our home. When we left TN, we sold some items, thinking we could replace them with others when we arrived to Raleigh. I saw a very cute dresser that I passed by several times before asking about it. It was sold, but there was no tag. I then had my eye on another piece, which I found out was also sold. I wish they had a better handle of marking things so nobody gets confused or upset.
We donated a bunch of items to the Friendship Used Clothing collection company to make room in our overstuffed closets and to help a worthy cause. After hearing about what they do, it was a very easy decision to make the donation. They were very gracious and thanked us for our support.
I went to Meenes Fashions to see what kind of clothing they had. I wasn't disappointed in the variety, but did note that most of what they carried was in very large sizes. I had considered consigning or even donating some items, but I thought the better of it after I paid them a vist.
