I do not recommend Children's Choice. I was there for 2 years - it started out wonderful. It went through intense changes - the owners / management moved to a more bottom-line centric philosphy and lost sight of the kids in the process. We left along with about 15 other families at the same time due to all the issues - one being the widespread outbreak of MRSA and their attempts to cover it up. Although this was a couple of years ago, I keep in good contact with a lot of people who have assured me nothing has changed. Sad. I loved it when it was awesome.
I've been with Kid's Kingdom for close to 3 years. I followed the director here from another center. I would not have my kids any other place. They are partners in raising my children, not just daytime babysitters.
This is excellent pizza. Certainly not Pizza Hut. If you want good, real pizza, Nick's is the place. Friendly and inviting.
Splurge Salon was recommended to me because I'm very particular about my hair, have issues with tipping, and am an online junkie. It's like the place was made for me. You can surf the internet while waiting for your color to process. There is no tipping allowed, so it's not awkward. I get emails that tell me available appointments and with a few clicks I can book it. Oh yes - the actual service is great. Great haircuts, great coloring. Friendly and inviting. Highly recommend.
Dr. Adair has been my and my husband's primary care doctor since we moved to the area. She is great. Bedside manner is excellent. She once called me at 7 at night to ask some questions. Every time I see her, she knows me, remembers my history, knows my husband, my kids - all of it. I have sent several friends her way - including one with pneumonia who didn't have insurance. Dr. Adair gave her a hefty discount and found enough samples of drugs to make her better so she didn't have to pay for a prescription. First time in my life that picking a name out of the phonebook paid off. I would be very upset to move & lose her as my doctor.
LOVE Dr. Kelkar. Already used the practice (Kids First Pediatrics) for my son, had my daughter early - she was a micro-preemie. Once discharged from NICU, made my first appt. - it was with Dr. Kelkar. First thing she said was, "I haven't taken care of a micro-preemie this small before, I am going to call the neonatologist and get more information." Any doctor who will freely admit they DON'T know something, then works to learn it, making you their partner in it...well, that's my doc of choice. She continues to exceed my expectations each and every time we see her. Highly recommend.
