Happy Hands & Hair by Carrie did my daughter's hair for her birthday party. My daughter was enamored on getting her hair done in an updo, so for her birthday, I took her to get her a fancy do. She was elated with the results and the talk of her party with all the other girls and their mom. I was very happy with the attention the stylist gave to my daughter.
Nails by Diane did a huge favor for me when I needed my polish changed at the last minute because I just couldn't squeeze in the time for a full pedicure. They were gracious and able to take me right away and did a very nice job polishing me. My toes looked great in my sandals and received a lot of compliments.
Madlena's Hair & Nails was able to take my daughter and I during the week without an appointment. We were getting ready for a school event and I promised my daughter I'd take her to get her nails done. They worked fairly quickly and did a very nice job on both of us. It's a clean environment as well.
Richard at Print Run has done so many of our printing jobs, I can't keep count. He always delivers on time and does quality work. We've used some other printing services in the past, but Richard's company is among the best.
We tried the Fitness Club Warehouse to see what they had when we were looking to replace some of the equipment on our home gym. I'm so thankful my husband was with me because the guys working there gave me the heebie jeebies. We didn't stay long at all. My husband wasn't impressed at all and we walked out within a few minutes.
Both my husband and I own skiboots we purchased at Surefoot. They toute their product as being the world's most comfortable ski boot. I don't know about the world, but as far as we're concerned, we love them and wouldn't consider using anything else.
The girls and I will refer to the Club Card when we want to make our golfing arrangements. They're more of a clearinghouse for all things golf - reservations, hotel suggestions, club locations, etc. We've had pretty good success with them. Some of their information/sources are outdated, so just verify and check what they tell you.
One of my friends found the Easy Seat by Hobson Associates that's the most comfortable seat on the planet! The seat that came with my mountain and road bikes are more of the traditional sort that after a while, your tushy starts to protest. The Easy Seat is a cushiony, two piece seat that's medically designed to support your sit bones (what's supposed to be in contact with the seat vs. your tush) for a comfy ride. I didn't believe my friend at first until I tried her bike. I was sold within minutes of trying it and ordered seats for both my bikes. It's relief where you need it!
My husband bought me the Attitude for Survival dvd and insisted I watch and practice it. It's an instructional video presented by a female martial arts expert designed specifically for women as a self defense course. I found it to be informative and pretty easy to follow, so much so, that we had several of our friends over (the wives) and we all had a couple of sessions. I've lent it out numerous times. It's that good.
I'm trying to get my sports enthused husband excited about tennis, so I took him to the Tennis Ace to find the right racquet. We went there because they have demo racquets so you can get a feel for them. The staff is great and very tennis savvy, so they had some excellent tips for him. He's tried three racquets so far, and I think he's finally picked the one for him. I really like their willingness to work with customers and appreciated all their help.
