The Tides South Beach
Definitely one of the nicer hotels in South Beach...and right on Ocean Drive. Most hotels on Ocean Drive are very loud and busy out front and small and cramped on the inside. This one is neither of those. Very chic. Very nice.

Chic and modern still keeping it in South Beach. Amazing ocean view if you don't mind spending the money for it.
Sagamore Hotel
A very chic and modern hotel that still carries a South Beach feel. This is a hotel you'll want to check out but be prepared to pay for it....I believe the average room costs $400/night. It's so worth it though...good shopping, good restaurants, not far from the beach...and if you pay a little extra you can get an amazing ocean view.
Park Central Hotel
Very close to the beach which is probaby the best part. The rooms could use some updating but the pricing isn't too bad...as long as your dates are flexinle you should be able to get a decent rate.
Essex House Miami Beach Hotels
A cute hotel. It has a modern feel yet still incorporates the art deco theme. The rates are sometimes a on the high side...the tip is to check out their website...the reservations page shows you a calendar with their daily rates...helps you see tghat if you change your trip by a day or twom it might save you some good money.
Marlin Hotel
I believe this hotel is still under renovations...I thought there were supposed to be done by the end of 2009 but their website is still down.
Prime Hotel Impala
Not a bad hotel but I do think the prices are high for what the hotel has to offer. I feel it is a $79/night hotel but the price quotes I usually get are $159 -$179.
Nash Hotel South Beach Miami Beach Hotels
Average room, average hotel, average pricing. It is however close to the beach...that's always nice.
Ocean Blue Hotel
Not a very fancy hotel my any means...but I do have to give them props for their rates...cheap! I've seen rates as low as $49/night...or you can even rent a room weekly for even more of a discount.
Fairwind Hotel
Wasn't anything fancy but it was clean and thats' always a good thing. It's not a far walk to the beach so you can enjoy a day in the sun, walk back to your room and get all ready for a night out in South Beach!
