Mi Casa
I've been taking my family to Mi Casa for the last 8 years and i can tell you something has changed, and it is NOT GOOD. In the beginning it was everything everybody said it was, great family place, great beans, family feeling, yaadi, yaadi, yaadi.
BUT! I went in there over the weekend, ordered take out from the big guy, had a couple of beers while we waited for the food, the bill was like, $50.00. Even though I ordered take out I usually tip him because I like him, we make small and it is friendly. I gave him 5 bucks ( which is actually too much, my bad) My bride asks for some extra salsa because it is very good there, and he replies, " you can buy it at the store". They've always been very stinggy with their salsa, like it's gold or something. We get home with the food, open up the combo containers and barely got some refried beans! I mean it's like 4 or 5 forkfuls and that's it! Not too much rice, either! I am completely pissed off. For the $55.00 I paid for and what we received in return, I will have have to say I am severely disappointed with Mi Casa and will not return. I hope the management is smart enough to read reviews about their business, and better change, because if they don't alot of repeat customers are going to go to Supermex! you know what Mi Casa? Next time I'm taking my family to Supermex on Candlewood and tell them how lousy you guys are.
I'm tired of getting ripped off and not getting my money's worth. Maybe the cooks are pissed off at the management and serving less food to drive the customers away! Well it's starting to work.
