Seems strange to rave about your HVAC guys, but I can't help it. These guys are fast, reasonably priced and have never steered me wrong. I used them both for home projects and for my business. Wouldn't use anything else
Cute little boutique with LOW prices on trendy stuff. So quality is not first class (handbags are vinyl) but its different and darling. New store opened on South Broadway, which I the one I visit.
Not too far south of Meiningers just off Broadway, this little shop is definitely worth a visit. It's small, but the selection is good where it counts and the service is tremendous. Prices are sometimes better than Meiningers too.
I refused to even consider this place for a long time because of its seedy appearance, frequent sunglass salesmen setting up shop in their parking lot and otherwise untidiness of the lot. However, I was told by several people that this is easily the best Middle Eastern restaurant in the area. And they were right! The food is GREAT - excellent hummos. Can't say the ambiance is great, so don't take a 1st date, but go with a friend. Good good food.
Food inspired by that of Northern Brazil, the atmosphere is festive and the wide variety of south american drinks is amazing. I like Cafe Brazil for a special night out that doesn't cost a fortune but feels like a great party. Try anything with shrimp in it.
Once considered the hottest restaurant in Boulder, this place still rocks - great food! They have over 150 tequilas and their tasting events are a blast! I love the seared sea scallops and empanadas.
Owners of Sushi Den brought Japanese architects and materials to Denver to design and build this beautiful restaurant. All the same sushi offerings as Sushi Den with additional small plates of Japanese-inspired fare. Resist the temptation to order the kobe beef sliders and go with something more original. Everything is great. Front of the restaurant opens wide in the summer to let fresh air in.
Totally fun place that practically introduced the mojito to Denver. This is favorite for girl's night out, but I'd highly recommend it for date night too. I like the paella a lot - I think it is the best thing on their menu. Never been to Cuba, but the decor feels so authentic - totally transports you. Nice outdoor dining in the summer.
The bar at Avenue gets all the kudos and wins "best martini" awards all the time. I love the bar too, especially because the average age is mid-30's, but the food is just as good! They offer a creative fusion of classic American and Asian. I like the Chinatown pork chop and the bread pudding is to die for.
Little Ollies is often on the "best of..." list in Denver for its great Chinese food, upscale interior and great service. They deserve the honors - just wish it was easier to find parking. My favorite is the Asia calamari and peking duck.
