I kind of like these hospital auxiliary thrift shops and this is no exception. This small store has been here for decades. The sweet grannies who work here are dear and very friendly. It's not a great selection, but I've scored some great vintage fabric here for not much.
Kind of a seedy bar in Capitol Hill 2 blocks off Colfax. Nothing about it is particularly special - they serve alcohol and below-average bar food.
The original used music store in Denver - lots of Capitol Hill character (and characters). They often have hard-to-find recordings and lots of rock schwag.
How random a pairing is this - ice cream and laundry? But the ice cream is good! Service is good. Cannot comment on the washers and dryers...
This is the handy oil change place Schomp put together for quick regular service. It's speedy, and as far as I can tell, the oil does get changed. Since it's a dealership, its a bit more expensive than independent guys.
My son took several sessions of gymnastics at ages 4 and 5. He really enjoyed it and learned some great skills - balance, poise. The instruction seemed good and employees were nice.
Dr. Francis definitely relates better to her patients than to their humans, but she knows her stuff and genuinely cares about pets.
Dr. Brodie is constantly investing in new technology and in his beautiful offices. He personally has two dental assistants, so there is never a wait for him. Other assistants in the office are fantastic and the front office people are truly professional. I feel like going to this dentist is a luxury.
Cram-packed at happy hour, good drinks, fairly good food and good service. Outside of happy hour, its kid-friendly.
Great small bistro with open kitchen. I love the fact that you almost feel like you're right in the kitchen. The restaurant is small and cozy and the food is fantastic! Arrives at your table straight from the stove. Lots of charm.
