Razzle Toys
I like Razzle toys for their huge selection of games - more so than other stores in the area. The store is just beautiful but have found the service somewhat lacking - often staffed by teens with less interest in children's toys that employees at other independent toy stores.
Timbuk Toys
I don't know what is better about Timbuk Toys - their great selection of unique toys or their fantastic customer service. These people can answer any question about any toy in the store, make perfect recommendations and wrap gifts beautifully. All while making you feel like the most important person in the shop. They don't even mind my 5-year-old looking around the store on his own (thankfully they have a train set for all kids to play with!)
Players Clothing Co-Lodo
Great store for classy casual men's clothing. We go for their great selection of Tommy Bahama items and other accessories.
Bouquets
We used Bouquets for our wedding flowers based on their artistry and creativity. They did a beautiful job, offering great suggestions and working within our budget. They are very professional and everything came off without a hitch. My one complaint is their attitude! Very snobby guys.
Red Coral Restaurant
I really like Red Coral restaurant, but usually just take out and not eat in. Their Jambone noodle soup is unique yet definitely Chinese and is the perfect comfort food. This is the cure for anyone with a nasty cold or flue. Service seems good too.
Margaret "Migs" Muldrow, MD
Migs Muldrow is a great skin doc! I'm one mole-covered girl, yet Migs seems to know my skin like her own. I don't feel pressured to have things removed just to increase her billing, and always trust her when she says it's time for something to go. Her assistant is top-notch, which is a huge part of any physician experience.
Deines, Alan State Farm Insurance Agent
We've had all of our insurance through Alan Deines for six years. He's very personable and great on the follow-through. I think State Farm in general treats their clients well and works hard to "make things right."

Three Cutters On Pearl
I was a client at Three Cutters for years when Joseph owned it. It was a tight ship with extremely high standards and superior customer service. However, after he moved away and sold to the new owner, things fell apart quickly. The place felt less clean, the attitudes grew ugly, and professionalism flew out the door. I was happy to pay the rather high prices for the level of service I initially received, but left after about a year of increasingly poor cuts, disintegrating cleanliness and a "too good for you" attitude.
Pajama Baking Co
Great breakfast/lunch spot tucked in the Platte Park neighborhood. I love the overhead garage door that is hoisted open whenever the weather is warm enough.
