The food is not the best middle-eastern food I have had, but the service is good. It has a homely feel to it as well. Be sure to look at their appetizers. The variety is among the best at any middle eastern restaurants I have been to.
I love Kan Zaman! Their lunch menu, especially, is priced well and full of variety. I especially enjoy their french fries, as weird as that sounds. It's definitely worth a try, the food and service is terrific.
The chaats and other snacks are are good but the service is really slow, as only one person is usually working there. So keep that in mind, if you are in a rush.
Not the best desi food I have, but certain things are pretty good, such as the grilled items. Try those and perhaps it will be to your taste.
I hated the service there, so I never went back. The food was mediocre and overpriced. Not one of my top suggestions, however, the kababs were decent.
The service and the lack of space really turns me off from this place. However, if you can get past that, the food is really good, especially all the grilled items.
Small but homely. The staff is great, the baked goods are delicious. Try picking up some desserts from there!
The chargha (whole fried chicken) was amazing! I have only been there once, because the service was mediocre, but the food was good, if you can overlook the lack of service.
I have only eaten here once or twice, but the food is pretty good. The food is Zabiha and the prices are reasonable. Good spot for those that enjoy middle eastern cuisine.
Right by DePaul so if you're ever craving a samosa, it is the place to go! Very reasonable prices, but it is not Zabiha.
