Park Burger - Pearl
Park Burger is a much-needed addition to the South Platte area. It has very tasty burgers with "special" sauce (like Thousand Island dressing) and the best, salty sweet potato fries you will EVER have! Only downside is that is a a small and narrow space so the wait can be long, so take-out is often the way to go!
Thai Market
Thai Market is a neighborhood gem! Though loud and packed often with a nicely diverse clientele, it has great Thai food at very affordable prices. While the Pad Thai is good, try to Beef Pad Se Ew -- it is to die for! The only downside is that the service is not great most of the time.
Denver Skin Clinic
I've gone to the Denver Skin Clinic for about 1/2 dozen doctors and been happy. Some Drs are better than other -- after trying a few, I found and like Dr. Havard. Although the staff can make you feel rushed, she is knowledgeable and answers my many questions.
Ellen N. Sachs, DDS
I highly recommend Dr. Sachs of this practice. I have a pretty good dentist and because I had a wisdom tooth with a crown needing a root canal, he sent me to his friend and colleague, Dr. Sachs. She was so great and did the entire procedure in a morning with state of the art technology. My recovery discomfort was minimal, much to my surprise (I've had several root canals before). It was money very well spent!
Oceanaire Seafood Room
A bit overpriced, but good food and very fresh seafood. If it weren't for the convenience of the location to work, then I'd probably find another seafood place nearby.
Lucile's Creole Cafe
I first went to Lucile's in Boulder and loved it a couple of years ago and was ecstatic when they opened one in Denver. It was packed on a weekend for brunch, but the wait-list moved quickly and the food was wonderful (though not cheap). Definitely a great and fun brunch spot and overall a very good time.
Topaz Thai Restaurant
The food is just great at this very cozy (like 12 tables) family-run restaurant in the middle of midtown Manhattan. I used to eat there 2x/wk when I worked across the street and now that I live away, I try to run to Topaz for a fix whenever I can. It is still great, very intimate, and a nice place to go. Lunches are still packed so try to go off hours. You won't be sorry!
Beau Jo's Pizza
The Pizza is good, but nothing to write home about. That being said, it is a good neighborhood pizza joint and on Monday nights, kids eat free off of the kids menu (which has no pizza!) and most importantly, go see Bryce the Balloon Man. He is great with the kids!
Hapa Sushi
Hapa in Cherry Creek has fresh and pretty good sushi/food (but not as good as Sushi Sasa or Sushi Den/Izakaya Den). It's a hopping joint (no pun intended!) and quite the scene on the weekends, but if you can ignore it and enjoy a great meal, you won't regret it!
Deluxe
While I really loved the food and atmosphere at Deluxe in the past, the last time I went a few months ago the service was mediocre at best, the food surprisingly uneventful, and the place too crowded with us jammed in a table in the middle of the room. I think they have gotten too big for their britches and need to bring back the old charm and come back down to earth, unfortunately.
