Lee's Woodwinds
Though if you're in Denver, you do have to send your instruments out to have it tuned up, it's well worth it. Lee's was recommended by our flute instructor who plays for CSO.
Planet Labs Aveda
I was looking for a salon where my daughters could get cuts and color and it wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg. Faith was recommended to me by a good friend and we've now seen her many times.
Write Occasions
We used Write Occasions for our Bat Mitzvah invitations and loved the selections and the personal service.
East Side Kosher Deli
It's almost Passover and I can always find what I need here. Whether you are kosher or not, East Side carries a wide variety of items and often has what you need when your regular grocery store does not. The restaurant is a nice plus.
Vantia Hardwoods
We just had hickory floors installed in our home, and they are BEAUTIFUL! For floors of this quality, the price was very reasonable, and everyone loves them.
Chill In
This little "hole-in-the-wall" in Cherry Creek is one of my favorite after dinner treats. They serve yummy frozen yogurt that is fat free and there are lots of mix-ins, both healthy and not. My favorite combo is chocolate with almonds and mini-chocolate chips.
Modern Ewe
Dana, the young owner of this knitting establishment, is helpful, knowledgeable and brings a youthful zest to what's often viewed as a stodgy hobby. Lots of yarns, patterns and accessories.
Cuba Cuba Cafe & Bar
My daughter and I wanted to have a dining adventure and we went to Cuba Cuba. It was packed! We had to wait, but had a great time people watching at the bar. When we finally sat down, the food was terrific our waitress wonderful.
Boatyard Pizzeria & Grill
Great local restaurant with a large, varied menu and a fun bar. Almost always crowded, so plan to wait and have a drink.
Hearthstone Restaurant
This is one of our favorite places to have a "date" in Summit County. It's got wonderful food and a cozy atmosphere. Look for off-season 2 for 1 specials.
