Waxing The City
This is a decent place that I've been going to for over three years. The trick is finding an aesthetician you like because not everyone's individual style (and ability) is the same. I do like the non-snobby attitude and the comfy rooms. The prices are quite reasonable and I like that they use hard wax doesn't seem to irritate the skin much at all. The hours are nice, but you do have to book in advance. Usually 3-4 wks in advance works well for me.

Dr. J is a great ob-gyn! Very professional and friendly as well. I saw him all throughout my pregnancy and he was simply amazing. The office staff is great as well, always cheerful and helpful. They do a great job trying to fit you in for appointments.
Lumiere Day Spa & Salon
I have gone to Lumiere over the course of a about a year for pedis/manis and finally decided to stop after my pedicure was gone after about 4 days. It just doesn't last for some reason. Now, the experience is pleasant, although the mani/pedi place isn't a separate room per se, but more of just a curtained space that people walk by. They try to create a relaxing atmosphere w/ soft music and tea but it doesn't really work. Plus, the cash tips only policy is not very customer friendly.
