If you don't like Zeitgeist, STAY AWAY. The dirt, the surly (albeit sometimes agro) employees and their often nonsensical rules are part of the charm. You live by their rules when you are there and you've probably heard em before: 1) don't stand on the F###ing bench, 2) no pictures, 3) no outside alcohol (this is completely obvious) 4) no portculli oil, OK it says that somewhere on a wall and I've never seen it, but I also hate it so I happen to agree with this one 5) your food will be ready when they call your name. It's as simple as this: don't be an ass, don't break their rules and all will be good. I've been to zeitgeist over a hundred times and I've never had a problem...just know where you are, respect the "power" they have over you and have a good time...or don't, the place can be too crowded at times anyway. In short, the pros trump the cons anyday of the week...you can smoke there for chrissake! The biggest con has to be people from the marina...suck it!
