You can read my original review below. Every time I go back to Evans, I find another reason to thank God that I found that store. I had to take my vacuum back to Evans today because it was not picking up pet hair. I did everything I could think of (i.e. checking all the connections, changing the bag, cleaning the inside, checking for clogs), but could not figure out what the problem was. Eddie, their technician, checked the vacuum suction from top to bottom--all the way through. Like a good surgeon, he found what the problem was. I had vacuumed up a service repair tag that had wire attached to it. Once again, Evans saved the day. I didn't have to leave my vacuum and wait days or weeks to get it back. And they didn't charge me a penny since I bought my vacuum there. Where else can you get service like that?
When I find a business that is honest and goes above and beyond to help me, I tell everyone I know. I've been dealing with the people at Evans on Cooper Street for more than five years. I've lost count of how many times they could have charged me to the time they spent "diagnosing" what was wrong with my vacuum cleaner--and then when I asked how much I owed, they said, "Nothing." When we got a new vacuum, we bought it from Evans. I recently had to take our Riccar (best vacuum I've had in my whole life!) to Evans for repair. No warranty "fine print" hassles...unbelievably fast repair. Even when I move to Fort Worth, I'm still going to use Evans. It is so worth the drive!!
