Pho Bolsa makes okay pho if I've you have really bad cravings for pho and haven't eaten pho for more than two years than you may consider it good. Compared to the many other pho restaurants in little saigon, pho bolsa is below average. I would definitely choose to go to other pho restaurants before heading here. The restaurant is small and not very clean. Service is quick and parking is abundantly available.
The spring rolls and nem nuong rolls are some of the best in Orange County. They have a full staff that just makes the spring/nem nuong rolls. I'd give these rolls five star due to its freshness and great tasting. Brodard also offers very tasty sauce with these rolls. Unfortunately, all the other food on the menu tastes below average and I would not recommend it. I would only recommends the rolls here. Restaurant is fairly clean and staff is friendly.
I've been coming here for about ten years and I'm never disappointed. Ivan is the guy who cuts my hair here. He is very detail oriented and you will see that he pays a tremendous amount of attention to the details. I highly recommend Ivan to any guys or gals. You wont be disappointed.
I've been to this Pei Wei restaurant about four times and 3 of those times we''ve had to wait extremely long to receive our food. The first time we were here, it took over 30 minutes for our food to come. We didn't make a big deal of it. The manager eventually came out and apologize to us for the long wait and gave us a free $10 Pei Wei coupon, which was pretty cool. We were just here last night and ordered some food to go. I swear it took more than 40 minutes to food to come out. I can understand waiting 10 to 15 minutes but having to wait more than 30 minutes on 3 different occassion is just joke. Also, by the time we got home to eat, the food tasted dry and was cold. I like Pei Wei restaurants but I'm not a big fan of this particular restaurant in Huntington Beach.
The pho ga was that good here when it was 50% off, but at that price in this rough economy you'll have a lot of patrons. However, the pho ga is not 50% off anymore so the quality sucks for its price. There are many better pho places in Little Saigon than Pho Vie. Wouldn't not recommend it unless you are totally wasted from alcohol and liquor binge drinking.
This place was an awesome deal when it first open. The carne asada burrito were twice as big as they are now and a little cheaper. Maybe my taste buds have gotten more mature since my college days but the carne asada are pretty dry and tasteless now. However, I still find myself coming back here once or twice a year for their carne asada burrito so it must not be that bad.
The Asian Garden Mall has changed a lot over the pass 5 years. It used to be a tourist meca for vietnamese people and the place was more like an indoor swap meet selling a variety of counterfeit products. This place is now more of jewerly mall. If you're looking for jewerly than you will want to come here. You must be forewarned though that if you don't know how to haggle than you WILL get RIPPED off. If you know how to haggle and bargain than you can get a pretty good deal.
The pho tai here is delicious and I highly recommend anybody who likes beef pho to give this place a try. I would give this place 5 star but the restaurant is pretty dirty and messy inside, so I'm going to deduct one star. Otherwise highly recommended.
The egg noodle here is delicious, but the soup is loaded with MSG! If you wanted to try something different than you may want to give this place a try.
Tried Hu Tieu Thanh Xuan because the other restaurants in the plaza was crazy busy. Unfortunately, there were only a couple of people eating in this restaurant and we can see why. The hu tieu tasted bland the meat was plain. The food was not bad but wasn't good either. You can tell this place never gets crowded b/c they reserve a couple of parking spots in front of their restaurant and it's still empty during the lunch rush hours. There are better hu tieu restaurants on bolsa.
