Tin Fish Restaurant
The food was okay. Nothing special. It was a nice set up and fun to people watch sitting out in the patio. The wait was ridiculously long, but maybe it was because I was in town for a major event.
Arigato Sushi
It is a very popular spot and you definitely get your moneys worth. They serve generous portions of their rolls and have a large selection. I gave it only three stars because it's not the best sushi, but it's good enough especially for it's price.
DNA Lounge
This place is fun. Open later than other venues in the City. They have live music and they always have a good line up when they do.
Rancho Bernardo Inn San Diego Hotels
The service here is great and the facility is just gorgeous. I came for a spa treatment under the stars. The facility is big and I got lost but everyone was very helpful. The restaurant was booked and super busy, but they made sure to serve me a light dinner (which was excellent) before my treatment. I've had a lot of massages and this is the best one to date.
Kamon Japanese Restaurant
This place is awesome. Really good for parties. It is a typical Japanese restaurant Not so flashy as mikunis but not as casual as other spots.
Bobo Cafe
This place is really good. Friendly staff and really good pho. It's voted best in Sacramento by a lot of the magazines and I agree.
Brew It Up-Brewery & Grill
This is one of those places where everything is good on the menu. Do not come to this place to order a cocktail during happy hour. You have to order one of their beers. I recommend their nutty ale or their wit dream for their weizen. They tend to be out of some of their really good stuff though. So get there early. Their food is great too. Creative appetizers on happy hour you can't find anywhere else.
Center Court With C-Webb
If you're an NBA fan you have to come here. The portions are large enough to feed an entire bball team. Their bball memorabilia is nice to look at and their bball player tables are cool too. They have a separate bar area which is fun and live music on some nights. There is a closed off section Chris Webber shows up sometimes with some other NBA players. I went during his VIP NBA season opening party and met him and some other players, they were all super nice!
Menconi's
This place has been in Union City since forever. It is not a cracking place by any means but it's just got that sentimental Union City value. There are some old timers here, but they're sweet and the staff is nice too. They have pool tables and karaoke night which you can get a whole group together and take over the entire area. This is an okay spot if you don't want to hit the usual Union Landing or go very far.
Maneki Sushi
This place is doable for a very close spot. There is better sushi around town but not as close to my house. They had a Lady Gaga roll that I was too scared to try, but their rolls are interesting.
