My 1996 Impala SS with 270,000 Miles finally failed smog. Knew it was time for new Cats. My regular mechanic recommended Ed, so I drove right over there. Ed did some checking and found He could use aftermarket Cats. Saved Me about $500 right there. While doing the job he showed me the X pipe. I said i had to have that, so it was installed right away. (If you've got a hot car, YOU WANT AN X PIPE.) He then thru in a couple of Nice exhaust tips (no charge), since my original exhaust ended in the wrong place. Ed is so knowledgeable it's scary. And the word "nice" in the dictionary should have his picture next to it.
Superior work and customer service. I didn't believe businesses like this existed anymore.
I've had an exhaust leak at the manifold/head due to broken bolts for most of my Impala's life (13 years). Never had it fixed because everyone i asked about it said the head had to be removed to get the bolts out.
I mentioned it to Ed and he said that was wrong, He could get them out and fix the leak no problem. Boy was he right. HE AND HIS GUYS FIXED BOTH SIDES WITHOUT REMOVING ANYTHING BUT THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD !!! The way they do it pure GENIUS !!!!!.... If you've got broken Exhaust manifold bolts, go to ed, he'll make a believer out of you. I can not say enough good things about ed and the way he does business. If all businesses we're run like ed's, the world would be a far better place.
I saw a TV on display at TV JACK'S and purchased it. I specifically asked Trey (the president and owner) if i was getting a new one in the box, he said yes. TV arrived in a box, but turned out to be the one displayed in the store, not brand new in box. called him on it, was told i'd get an new one in box, was shown the new one in the box. then i get a call the next day, the one in the box cost $500 more and i'd have to pay it if i still wanted the tv. told him NO. told him to repair my old one. ($149.00 to check it out plus $50.00 Pick-up and delivery). then he calls and says it's another $350 and tells me whats wrong with it. (i'm a technician myself and knew what he said was the problem was wrong or at least not the complete problem.) told him to just bring my TV back. My TV was working when i gave it to him, but he brought it back totally dead. Here's the real kicker, while i'm looking closely at my returned TV and talking to Trey about why it's now totally dead, i hear his truck start up and drive away, he's gone!!!!!!!!! (It took me all of 10 minutes to figure out what was wrong and get it working again. (still may have original problem, shutting down whenever it feels like it))..., i don't think much of his technicians either. I bought from him because i wanted to help the "small guy", in this case it was a mistake, this is one small guy that can go away and we'll all be better for it.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY AND HIS BUSINESS !!!!!!
