We took my partner's scooter in on July 9th. On July 14th we returned to talk to Russell who let us know the extent of the repairs and told us it would take 2 weeks to get the part in. After 3 weeks from the point we told them to order the part, we called and were told the part still had not come in. We called again at 4 weeks and were told the part would hopefully be in that Friday or Saturday. The following week (5 weeks from the point the part was ordered, and almost 6 weeks from the point we originally dropped off the scooter) we called again to check on the scooter and were told it was finally done. When I dropped by to pick up the scooter, I inquired about the reason the part took so long and asked when it had been ordered. Russell told me it had been ordered on 7/14, but it was backordered. When I asked why we hadn't been called to tell us that, he had no explanation. When Russell brought the scooter around front he mentioned that I might want to get gas as the gas light was on. I made it exactly 1 block before the scooter ran out of gas. This was disconcerting since we brought the scooter in with plenty of gas, and they obviously had to ride the scooter after the repair to verify it was working properly.
We went to Sportique because we had experienced less than great service and quality of work at OTD, and had told Sportique was the best. This is definitely not the case.
